I joined Monte's March today to raise awareness about food insecurity and support the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts. My route was from Chicopee to Holyoke, but many volunteers walked from Springfield to Northampton.

Book bans, like the one proposed by a Ludlow School Committee Member, are not an attempt to suppress inappropriate "content." They are attempts to suppress freedom of thought, expression, diversity, and the marginalized communities that proponents of book bans can't accept.
