There is something deeply wrong with a political system that allows one trillionaire to buy his own personal U.S. Senator.

We are past the point of political disagreement. We are witnessing a catastrophic collision between unchecked narcissism and obvious neurological decay. It is the most dangerous intersection in American history: a man with the absolute power of the Presidency and the absolute cognitive failure of a person no longer tethered to reality.

Freedom of Movement wasn't about immigration. It was YOUR freedom. To live in Paris. Work in Berlin. Retire in Spain. Study in Rome. Fall in love in Prague. We didn't take Freedom of Movement away from Europeans. We took it away from ourselves.

Russia is bombarding the U.K. information space with lies and misinformation. And Nigel wants it to carry on because it helps him. Like it helped them ten years again during the referendum. About time government took it seriously. Farage and his AfD pals in Germany have done enough for Russia already. His close pal Nathan Gill is paying a high price, wallowing in jail. Time for the rest of us to call it out.
Instead of lowering your energy bills or cutting your taxes, Burnham has announced a National Centre for Information Defence. This is a Labour Ministry of Truth targeted directly at Reform. They know they can't win by fair means, so they're trying to destroy us by foul means.

Out of his tiny mind When will the Americans be brave enough to remove this man who is making America the laughing stock of the world
Trump described Canada as a far greater enemy of the USA than Putin’s Russia. It is time to say this openly: – The USA is currently ruled by a dictator who was most likely recruited back in the days of the USSR. – As it turns out, the American system of checks and balances does not actually exist in reality. – The trust between Europe and the USA—which had existed since at least 1945—has been buried; if not forever, then certainly for a very long time. t.me/MirovichMedia/15344

President Trump renames Lake Ontario “Lake America.” And then he boasts about renaming the Gulf of America too. It’s difficult to imagine any previous American president behaving with such astonishing immaturity 🤦‍♂️

The many vocal critics of Mayor Khan should humbly reflect on a recent report into the massive improvement in child' lung health since the introduction of ULEZ. Whilst the likes of Hall & Hopkins spout their bile, a fine public servant gets on with actually improving the quality of life.

One of the biggest myths about Europe is that freedom of movement was mainly about holidays. It wasn’t. It was about careers, families, study, retirement, business and opportunity. Travel was just one part of something much bigger.

Delighted that #Spain won the World Cup final. Absolutely deserved. And I’m sure Trump will be delighted to present the trophy to Spain 😅

Donald Trump wants you to believe the 2020 election wasn’t safe, even though he was president. Then it magically became safe when he won in 2024 under Biden. And now it’s unsafe again, right as he’s expected to lose the midterms. Imagine still taking anything he says seriously

Keir Starmer rightly receives a standing ovation from the entire House as he bids farewell to Parliament. He will go down as a genuinely honourable public servant, and one of the most unfairly maligned leaders in modern British politics. He became a target of a new wave of politics driven by hostility, misinformation and propaganda, designed not to strengthen democracy, but to erode trust in it, whose goal is to concentrate power into the hands of those with the greatest wealth, resources and influence.

I was with him yesterday amongst so many who he has supported by challenging the system and introducing laws to prevent and protect…I observed total respect and a sense of loss and I observed his humanity, dedication, and grace in Departure. I believe my eyes, ears and those who actually know above the Tittle Tattle and name calling of foreign influence and those who simply serve to bring down. We have lost a good man with good intent, We will know that too soon,
It’s clear watching Starmer’s final PMQs that the Labour Party has just made an absolutely catastrophic error, blinded by panic, afflicted by petty opportunist factionalism, and entirely disengaged from the national interest in a dangerous world. What a huge, huge blunder. 🤦🏻‍♂️

EXCL: Keir Starmer has become first UK PM to be presented with Légion d’honneur by French president, in recognition of his work on security of Europe. Emmanuel Macron awarded the historic honour to Starmer for his l'ship in setting up coalition of the willing at a critical moment for the continent in early 2025. Only other British PM to receive a similar award – at a higher level, the Grand-Croix of the Légion d’honneur – was Winston Churchill in 1958 in recognition of his leadership during the second world war. theguardian.com/politics/202…
