🚀 Dex for Android (Early Access) is available right now!
🌐You can now, for the first time time, access Dex directly from your Android phone. Dex for Android is in Early Access, meaning it is public and reliable for daily use, but it's not feature complete yet.
🛠 We’re closing the gap from iOS quickly, with new features landing regularly. Folders and Card Notes are on the way and will be available before Christmas.
🧩 Episode 7 of Linked Illustrations is here! We're still discovering connections between Pokémon TCG cards, and this time there are some really fun stories hidden across different illustrations.
🍎 Scorbunny, Grookey and Sobble tell a little story involving some disappearing fruit, leaving poor Sobble with nothing and in tears! Meanwhile, Lombre and Dewpider share the exact same background.
🌙 Other connections bring together familiar faces, like Lillie, Solgaleo and Lunala across different stages of their evolutions. Even Ho-Oh and Lugia share a connected illustration!
🏟️ And sometimes it's all about perspective. Charizard and Pikachu show the same stadium from two different viewpoints, both illustrated by the same illustrator.
👀 Did you already know these connections? Which one is your favorite, and have you found any others we should feature in Episode 8?
🖌️ Think you know everything about Tomokazu Komiya? There's a lot more to discover beyond his Pokémon cards!
🎨 In part 2 of our two-part illustrator spotlight, we're exploring his traditional painting techniques, forgotten Trainer cards, unusual promos, and some incredible collectibles.
🃏 From rare Japanese exclusives to museum collaborations and children's books, his creative world extends far beyond the cards in our binders.
💬 Now that you've seen both parts, where do you stand on Komiya's illustrations? Are they among your favorites, or do you prefer a more traditional Pokémon look?

🎨 Some Pokémon illustrations make you look twice. Tomokazu Komiya's might make you look three times.
🌀 In part 1 of our two-part illustrator spotlight, we're exploring how his unmistakable style evolved from the earliest Pokémon TCG expansions into the strange, colorful worlds we recognize today.
🖌️ Behind those unusual proportions and chaotic backgrounds are decades of creative choices, experimentation, and emotion.
💬 Do you love Komiya's illustrations, or have they never quite clicked with you? Share your favorite, and look out for part 2, where we explore his rare cards, creative process, and surprising projects!
⚫⚪ Unova gave us some of the most memorable characters in Pokémon history, and these eight Trainers played a huge part in the Black & White Series as the first full art Supporter cards!
👀 From N's complicated relationship with Team Plasma to Ghetsis pulling the strings behind the scenes, the region has no shortage of interesting stories.
🌟 And some characters changed quite a bit between the original games and their sequels. Cheren became a Gym Leader, Bianca joined Professor Juniper, and Iris rose all the way to Champion!
🃏 Eight characters, eight different cards. Which of these Unova Trainers is your favorite, and whose cards would you most want in your binder?
🌏 More Pokémon TCG news from Japan and China! New tournament promos, upcoming expansions and exclusive illustrations are giving collectors plenty to look forward to.
👀 Japan is introducing seven Gym tournament promos, including another adorable close-up illustration, this time featuring Golett!
💎 Meanwhile, China's seventh Gem Pack arrives November 6 with Misty's Psyduck in the spotlight. Black Bolt and White Flare also arrive that day, bringing brand new Special Illustration Rares for N's Plan and Hilda as China continues catching up with international releases.
✨ These new Simplified Chinese illustrations are expected to remain exclusive, adding even more unique cards for collectors around the world to discover.
💬 Do you enjoy regional exclusives, or would you rather every illustration eventually become available worldwide? And should international releases get their own exclusives too?
📖 What if you tried completing the original 151 Pokémon using only alternate illustrations? We gathered every eligible card to see how far a Kanto collection could go!
😮 Only 88 of the original 151 Pokémon have qualifying cards so far. That's just 58%! Many iconic Pokémon like Geodude, Machop and Onix are still missing, while fan favorites like Charizard, Pikachu and Mew already have over 10 options each. Surprisingly, Gyarados only has one qualifying card, and it's already 10 years old! Pokémon with multiple options are marked with a "+" symbol.
🎨 Of course, a collection like this needs some rules. We excluded Full Arts and regular illustrations that fill most of the card, including Ancient Trait, GX and V cards. We accepted cards from any series, regardless of yellow or silver borders, as well as regional variants, Tag Team alternate illustrations and Mega Evolutions.
🌏 We prioritized international releases but included regional exclusives when available, like Ponyta and Cubone from the Simplified Chinese Gem Packs. These are just our rules, though. You can build your collection however you like!
💬 Are you building a Generation 1 Pokédex collection too? Which illustrations would you choose for Pokémon with multiple options? Share your picks in the comments!
🧩 Another episode of Linked Illustrations is here! We're still uncovering connections between Pokémon TCG cards, and some go well beyond the illustrations themselves.
👀 From Zacian and Zamazenta sharing a scene to Magikarp & Wailord GX offering what looks like a closer view of another Wailord illustration, there's always something new to notice.
🎈 Some connections tell stories across generations, like Tepig's evolving family or the new 30th Celebration throwback to Igglybuff from the Neo Series.
🧥 Pikachu may be famous for wearing ponchos resembling other Pokémon, but Eevee had an entire poncho collection of its own.
✨ In 2017, Japanese Pokémon Centers offered eight promotional cards, each dressing Eevee as one of its Evolutions available at the time.
