Centralized cloud infrastructure is a physical single point of failure.
Major AWS data centers going offline due to physical attacks is the ultimate real-world proof of concept for decentralized infrastructure.
This is exactly why the rollout of $ICP Cloud Engines is so critical right now. You can't take down a network that lives everywhere.
🚨🇮🇷 Iranian drones hit 3 Amazon AWS data centers in the Gulf. 2 in the UAE directly, 1 in Bahrain nearby.
Iran's reason: the U.S. military runs AI intelligence systems on AWS. Including, they specifically claimed, Anthropic's Claude.
The facilities are still partially offline.

Quantum computing is coming. Most chains aren't ready.
ICP is built differently.
The Internet Computer's architecture supports crypto agility cryptographic schemes can be upgraded across the entire network via NNS governance. No hard fork. No chain split. Just a vote.
When quantum breaks RSA and ECDSA, chains without this will face an existential migration crisis.
ICP just… upgrades.

Anybody else notice the daily CBR on the ICP Dashboard is higher than the previous week… consistently?
My 11, 13 & 14-year-old kiddos chose to lock their $ICP indefinitely.
