#DhoomakethuOnNetflix is good fun, a time loop story, a childhood obsessive love, a comet creating the confusion in the life of Kuttan all worked cute. Good time pass film. Do check out 👍

You may not like a film, and that's perfectly fine. But your personal opinion doesn't define a film's success or failure at the box office. Your opinion is individual, but the box office reflects the audience's collective response.
When a film is performing well commercially, have the maturity to acknowledge its success, even if it didn't work for you personally. Trying to deny a film's success simply because you disliked it, despite its good box office performance, is nothing but pure ego.

Watched #DRONES … a whacky, funny, mysterious & gutsy attempt that entertains us with its idea and execution. Dancing psycho killer, Black Hole concept, Robo, true idea of love, freedom to all those who got locked inside … all worked well. Do watch in theatre 👍

🚨 WE LOST ₹200 CRORE IN POTENTIAL! 💥
Producer #Dhananjayan makes a BIG claim about #Jailer2's North India release!
Even without access to major multiplex chains, Rajinikanth's film has reportedly outperformed competing original Hindi releases! 🔥
He believes a full-fledged release could have changed Kollywood's box office history.
Was ₹1,000 CR within reach? 👀

I’ll be honest… sometimes I am just so tired of this. Sitting in a hospital room after another surgery, a heavy thought sometimes creeps in, wondering if my whole life will always be about hospitals. Since I was just a child at the age of 13, through bilateral amputation and severe trauma to my legs requiring more than 10 surgeries, this body has carried so much pain.
But I’ve learned to search for life in the intervals. When the pain pauses and things are okay, I choose to chase joy in those days in between. That is when I travel, step onto the stage as a motivational speaker, and aim to empower others. That is when I hold my loved ones close.
Happiness isn’t the total absence of pain; it’s how fiercely we choose to live in the moments we have. Sometimes I fear that I don’t have a lot of those moments left without pain, but I still try. I am tired, yes, but I am still so deeply alive. ❤️🩹

I’ve been in Tamil Nadu for the last 4 days, and this morning, something interesting happened.
A family suddenly showed up outside my hotel, asking the reception to call me.
I went downstairs and met the family. He said that he has been following me on social media for the last 2-3 years.
I thanked him and we talked for around thirty minutes, but what was troubling me the most was how he knew I was staying in this hotel.
So I decided to ask. He replied that one of his relatives lives around this area and had spotted me entering the hotel earlier.
The relative felt too shy to come and meet me, so he told him instead, and he brought his family to see me.
I was at a hospital yesterday, and one person recognised me and started shouting with joy when he saw me.
In my experience, everyone in Tamil Nadu is extremely cheerful and sweet. They will literally go out of their way to help you.
So far, I have met around 10 people who know me, and each of them has gone out of their way to help me.
When I was at the hospital, the guy who recognised me stayed with me for the entire 3 hours because I couldn't speak Tamil.
He spoke to everyone on my behalf in Tamil and then translated everything back to me in English.
I never thought that I’d be getting so much love in Tamil Nadu, or that a state 2,000 km away from my home would have so many people who love me.
If you are not from Tamil Nadu, trust me, everything negative you see about the place on social media is a lie.
Each and every person is sweet and helpful, except auto drivers as they scammed me once, but it’s fine.
Everyone should visit Tamil Nadu once in their life and experience the warmth and love the people here have to offer. It is a truly beautiful state. I've fallen in love.

Shocked to learn the sudden demise of Legendary actor #NanaPatekar sir, a unique, exemplary & highly talented actor. Who can forget his roles in many Hindi & Marathi films, apart from #Bommalattam & #Kala in Tamil Cinema. We will miss you sir. May your soul rest in peace.

I read through it. I’m not saying you were wrong in your analysis. You were mostly right. And trust me we are aware of all of it. But there are just times when from our end we can do everything right. But outside factors or other circumstances can turn those upside down. It’s easy to analyse an end product or result. But it takes 2-300 people to make a film. It’s never easy. Never simple. And never something you can apply formulae or academics to. No production house or actor in world cinema intends to make mistakes or a bad film. In life has everything gone the way you intended ? So imagine an entity that operates with an internal team and multiple external teams. I’ll always stand by my team and if you want to blame someone you can blame me.
#OhhMyDog is a beautifully made, heartwarming and brilliant film of a dog trying to locate its master kidnapped & a boy trying to locate his pet dog, taken away by a gang. Both stories travel parallel and so interestingly narrated. Congrats to the Team. Don’t miss to watch on @NetflixIndia now. So engaging and value of loyalty shown so well 👍👌

#Baththa is an amazing film - a story we hardly get to see on Indian screens.
It revolves around the unlikely conflict between a popular, feared rowdy and an innocent school-going kid. What happens when their paths cross in an unpleasant and completely unplanned situation forms the heart of the film.
Three major highlights:
1. Story, screenplay & direction (Balaji Tharaneetharan)
2. Performances - especially Vijay Sethupathi and Master Sai Prithviraj
3. Sai Abhyankar’s background score
By the interval, you start wondering how the writer is going to take the story forward. I was genuinely impressed by the way the screenplay unfolds in the second half. The “singing” element towards the end is another sweet takeaway.
Sai Prithviraj is terrific. His reactions and expressions are simply amazing. Vijay Sethupathi, once again, reminds us why he is one of the finest contemporary actors.
Both characters take themselves and their individual perspectives very seriously, but the humour that emerges naturally from their situations is genuine, warm and heartwarming.
I was particularly impressed by Sai Abhyankar’s background score. The way he uses certain instruments gives the film a classic European and vintage Hollywood feel.
The overall viewing experience also reminded me of Majid Majidi’s 1990s films, especially Children of Heaven, where the innocence and psychology of children are explored beautifully.
Vijay Sethupathi gets a 360-degree character arc, and the kid is the catalyst for that transformation.
One of the best films I’ve watched in recent years.
A must-watch! 👍
Hearing great things about Tamil film #Baththa. Going to watch soon!
