today marked 4 years since i started volunteering, a day spent guarding a pacer...
could've been worse
ive not posted on here for a while, but anyway
currently working on a new willow woods colliery layout to replace the old slightly dodgy one! still very much a work in progress
looking back at last year at chasewater...
was an amazing year with a chaotic (but great) 60th anniversary gala!
this year i should finally be passed out as a passenger guard!
haven't posted on here in a hot while...
so here's my current modelling project, a cut-down W6 peckett using planet industrials conversion kit!
something a little bit foreign for me today...
had my first 3rd man/cleaner role on jammo! was fairly enjoyable but I do hate the engine more than I already did 馃ぃ
first trainee guard turn with hollybank!
very enjoyable day, better than jammo for sure
also was the first time in a while (probably) that my tail lamp has been used on a train!
quite the chaotic one today!
after jammo failed before the first train due to a seal going on the gearbox, and after moving it and the coaching stock
the pacer came out to play! not exactly how i planned my bank holiday to go! 馃ぃ
another day, another train - probably my last TTI turn for a while!
this time with hollybank!
was training up a new TTI today aswell, so wasn't too busy
first trainee guard turn of the season yesterday! was a bit eventful and chaotic, but fun nevertheless!
