Actually
Datacentres buying 70% of the world's DRAM supply, only to not be able to power even HALF if it is a far greater waste than me making use of it in my gaming desktop and servers.
Fuck you Altman, you insufferable prick.

After the last election, Starmer crossed the floor and thanked Farage for the huge majority.
They both worked together to destroy the "far-right."
Hey @bbc
When will the US viewers be subject to TV licensing?
This service ain't gonna fund itself, and if you're making us foot the bill
You should make the Americans do so too :)
📺 Big news! @BBCNews is now streaming live on YouTube in the UK and U.S.
YouTube is the home for high-quality, trusted news: in the first half of 2026 alone, viewers watched over 18 billion hours of news content on the platform. By using @YouTube's live tools, iconic broadcasters like the BBC can build deep, authentic rapport, bringing global communities together to learn, discuss, and follow history as it happens.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This comes as part of a wider move to expand the license fee charter. An upcoming government white paper will recommend Britons be forced to fund the BBC if they use YouTube, Netflix, Amazon or Disney Plus

Currently, large volumes of profit created in our country are distributed overseas through dividends, remittances and complex corporate structures that allow for the shifting of profits out of the Britain on an industrial scale.
This is morally wrong.
Restore Britain would fix it.
We will introduce fair and proportionate withholding taxes on dividends paid to overseas shareholders, tax remittances, and implement systems to ensure that profits generated in Britain deliver a reasonable return to the British economy.
Not shifted off to some low-tax paradise, stripping the British economy of its own wealth and rewards.
An economy that works for British men and women.

🚨 THE STAGGERING DAMAGE LABOUR INFLICTED ON GREAT BRITAIN IN JUST SEVEN DAYS!
I need every taxpayer to look at the absolute trail of destruction Burnham and his cabinet left behind over the past week alone.
While working families struggle to pay their bills, the Westminster establishment has been busy dismantling our country piece by piece:
*The Ministry of Justice paused tougher life sentences for child rapists just to save 350 prison beds, right after releasing hundreds of convicted criminals onto our streets.
*Burnham openly floated a second Brexit referendum on television and confirmed that dragging Great Britain back into the European Union is firmly on the table.
*Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy backed a disgraceful plan to force every household to pay a mandatory BBC tax on their broadband bills even if they do not own a television.
*Nature Minister Jenny Riddell Carpenter publicly smeared traditional British country pubs, pints of ale, and pet black labradors as a dangerous far right fantasy.
*Shabana Mahmood approved blowing 250 million pounds to dump a massive migrant compound into the tiny Oxfordshire village of Piddington while British veterans sleep rough.
*Justice Minister Jake Richards went on BBC Question Time and deliberately refused to commit to stopping the small boats until the studio audience groaned in absolute disgust.
These out of touch socialists are treating our nation like a radical ideological playground and bleeding the domestic working class dry to pay for it!
I am sick to death of watching arrogant politicians destroy the country my grandparents built!!
Retweet this immediately to expose the disastrous reality of this government to every single voter before they do any more damage. 🇬🇧🔥
Can't get to a heart attack patient in less than 40 minutes
But WE CAN ABSOLUTELY SEND ALL OUR EMS TO THE FUCKING HARBOR!!!
Reminder;
No visas
No UK passport
No legal right to remain
And yet treated better than even the LEGAL migrants who came here for a better life.
We are not a serious country.

Taxing smokes and drink didn't lower the numbers
It just made a night out more expensive.
You can't fix problems by slapping a new tax on them.
You fix them with proper information campaigns, research, and providing assistance where feasible.
Vaping just got more expensive.
A new UK tax has come into force adding £2.20 duty to every 10ml of vape liquid, whether it contains nicotine or not.
The Government says making vapes less affordable should help discourage children and non-smokers from taking them up. There's also a new duty-stamp system aimed at tackling illegal vapes.
But here's the interesting bit: the new vape duty is forecast to raise more than £550 million a year by 2030/31.

The top of Reform were offered a way to work with Restore.
Rupert handed them the olive branch, despite Reform making false criminal allegations against him after he was forced out.
They then declined, and demanded we remove my friend Charlie Downes.
Remind me who opened the borders, or ran the system that flooded this country? Handing out citizenship papers like leaflets.
Plenty of the ex-Tory MPs now sitting in Reform did.
If you cannot see why that demand is ludicrous, you cannot be helped.

Andy Burnham just increased the foreign aid budget to £21 billion a year.
That’s money we don’t have that we have to borrow to give to other people
Yesterday, the interest rate on long-term British debt hit 6%
That means the daily repayments on just one year of foreign aid is
£3,452,000 PER DAY
Iran did state that it was sending terrorists via the channel since it's trivial to do so.
They weren't wrong.
AND OUR GOVERNMENT STILL DOESN'T THINK WE SHOULD STOP THE FUCKING BOATS.
Cargo bikes are cool and all
But you won't catch me hauling 4, 130-170kg printers on one.
A 3.5t van does a way better job of that, and can go for longer distances...
Which is actually a basic requirement since thebcompany I work for is national and dispatches installs through two offices. One North, the other South.
I ain't even mad...
Bet it's more stable than the 50 series' slop-coded bullshit as well lmao
You might've of heard video game decompilations using A I tools, but now someone vibe coded a video driver to support for NVIDIA’s GeForce 10 series (aka Pascal) to work in Windows XP, based off NVIDIA 368.81 driver, dubbed as Forceware 382.69. 😭

The UK has gone mad.
A pint is £6.50
A coffee is £4
Takeaway for one is £25
Petrol is £1.73 a litre. Diesel is £1.97
An hour with a driving instructor is £50
A short taxi is £20
A week’s shop for one is £80
A cheap hotel night is £110
Rent is £1,459 a month as national average.
And this is my personal favourite.
£172 a month for my two kids to get the bus to and from school just fifteen minutes away.
Nothing fancy.
Just the prices.
You work.
They take.
