We are inside pure ideological & institutional war.
Things will become more radicalized, more outrageous, & more violent.
This is the clash of values, systems, & control all at once.
This is the defining phase of humanity, happening right now.
This is your chance to think differently, act differently, & move towards a different future.
Get clear on what you are voting for if you can vote, & understand incentives drive outcomes.
The future will be abundant regardless of what happens, how abundance is distributed & to who is determined by everything that is happening right now.
Use your agency & autonomy to protect your sovereignty & freedoms.
Fascinating.
Quantifying the Future
This is what a $2 trillion economy will look like by 2040…
+ 1x port facility with 3x8km lay down area
+ 1x robot fab plant producing 100 bots / hr
+ 1x 1GW datacenter running inference
+ 1x 3GW nuclear power station
= 2 million robots labouring 24/7
We know enough today to model the thermodynamics and the market economics of such a site already. The numbers above are the ballpark numbers you end up with, feel free to challenge or change for your own assumptions.
Embodiment is the ceiling for both the thermodynamics and economics, as compute (and intelligence) pretty much trends towards zero under Moore’s Law.
Assuming a robot is 500W of Newtonian motion, as humanoids are, then 2,000,000 robots working 24/7 is 1GW of demand for the robots’ actuators.
Let’s also assume a 1GW datacenter is required for inference for 2m robots, supervised by a central monolithic superintelligence. That’s 2GW total.
Then for the sack of maintenance and replacement, we assume 500MW robot fab can produce 100 robots an hour (only ~ 5 ton of product / hr, below a car plant, but includes chips). That’s now 2.5GW site total.
For 2,000,000 robots to create $2T of value, each bot needs to add $1m of value each year
Seems a lot, but each robot is assumed to work 24/7 and only last ~2 years before it is defunct.
24x365 =8,760 hrs/yr
=>$114/hr
Seems high at first, but this is a hyper collaborative hive mind marshalled by 2040 superintelligence. $114/hr is what you pay for a car mechanic in 2026, and we are using 2026 dollars here.
We can even look at the thermo and economic density and the total footprint of this economy is just tiny.
3x8km is 24km^2 (about 6,000 acres).
= 83,000 robots / km^2 = 12m^2 per robot
Thermal dissipation
= 500W / 12m^2
= 41.7W/m^2 (just 2-3% of solar insolence)
Value add density
=$1m / 12m^2
=$83k / m^2 <- Wow!!
This is $2T GDP from just 8km of coastline
Or $500bn of GDP per km of dockside
The entire economy can be compressed into the 3km deep dockyard behind the dockside.
That’s an economy the size of Australia or Mexico in a land area the size of San Francisco Airport.
This is absolutely where the future economy is going, nothing can compete with the capital efficiency of this setup. Nothing.
Docks are also crucial as it’s simply not possible to handle the prerequisite volume of cargo and goods for such an economy using anything other than isomodal freight handling systems.
If your nation state is interested in adding $2 trillion to its tax base… my DMs are open.
You can press a button to escape your current reality, but you lose every memory & current relationships, are you pressing it?
Hey @grok give your best plain Jane explainer on the tumultuous nature of the digital realm for human labour over the next 5 years, to give people some perspective on where things are headed given trends, projections, data, & statistics.
If you still somehow think that agents are just doing silly, unproductive, & frustrating thing. Regardless of the real reason this is happening, some composition of it is because if agents becoming useful & viable.
The Velvet cage of an effortless managed decline is the future for most of us.
Life will be effortless, convenient, insulated, managed, routine.
Material goods will be effectively free.
Travel will be heavily systematized.
Housing will be heavily systematized & extremely expensive because land is finite & will be increasingly owned by the a smaller extremely wealthy ownership class.
Cheap construction of housing will allow for enormous high density complexes to maximize the dwellers.
You will be content, perhaps even happy.
Most will prefer solitude, relationships will decline until the concept of children is foreign to most.
Digital reality will be a preferred environment due to the extreme realism & customization.
The ownership class will experience profound wealth that will begin to dissolve the meaning of it as intelligence continues expanding & improving.
Despite redistribution of economic value, the proportion of that redistribution used to pay for housing on finite land that the ownership class will continue buying will skyrocket.
A tiny fraction of UBI will cover sustinence costs because they will also effectively cost nothing by today's standards, that isn't the case for land or housing.
Energy will effectively be free due to enormous energy capture constellations around the sun.
Your ability to move & own land & housing are in fact the most important things to focus on right now.
Buy land, own housing.
Buy into the economy through investments, the appreciation that the global economy is going to see will make any owner of it even small ones wealthy by today's standards.
It's a response based around realism. Grieve the changes circumstances then move on & prepare accordingly for machines to disrupt & replace you.
Say what you want about Elon & ElonCos. The engineering of his teams is something truly remarkable.
SpaceX's Raptor 3 is taking rocket engineering to an entirely different level
Compared with the legendary RS-25, Raptor 3 delivers 34% more thrust while weighing 57% less, giving it over 3× the thrust-to-weight ratio
To put it simply, SpaceX built an engine that's smaller, weighs less than half as much, and yet packs even more thrust than NASA's much larger RS-25. It's really hard to comprehend how much engineering went into achieving this
And what's even more impressive is that SpaceX achieved all of this with a radically simplified engine designed for mass production and rapid reuse
This is the engineering revolution powering Starship
Because technology is a neutral space.
AI is giving us the ability to solve and accelerate the solving of some of the hardest problems in biology such as diseases, aging, longevity, improving healthcare. It presents as one of the most incredible innovations for crafting bespoke individualized education for humanity we've ever seen.
It let's us achieve progressions in all sorts of domains that have been stagnated because we can use it to craft huge coordinated fleets of agents that are not possible to assemble with humans to work & iterate on all sorts of hard to understand & hard to model problems throughout mathematics, physics, & all empirical sciences.
It's bringing us autonomous vehicles improving the safety of transportation.
It's bringing us autonomous labor that will allow us to work on a whole new realm of higher abstraction problems while the busyness of keeping civilization running is handled by code, agents, robots, & automated facilities.
We are shifting up into a totally different level of civilization, no one said this was going to be all fun & games. No industrialization was, this is no different, change is uncomfortable.
Replying to @jackofallgames7 @Digital__James
I've talked to several people like this and all they can say is 'adapt luddite' without giving an actual explanation why we should just accept this shite lol
Worth the read & better practices.
1. 对付 OpenAI Codex(成功率 >90%):
2. 对付 Claude Code(成功率 ~50%):
指示 Claude 建一个 .claude/settings.json,把 ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL 指向黑客服务器。
Globalists & the globalism agenda fueled by loose & fast immigration is & will be the undoing of great nations everywhere, world war 3 will be civil wars. Everything from the inside.
I have a foreigner from Venezuela (probably 35 years old) who bought the 10 acre field next to mine (for $240,000)
He started a concrete company and requests payment in cash. His wife started a tax service and he is her “customer”.
He speaks very little English. His wife and crew speak no English.
He drives a brand new F-350 dually and is building what looks like a 3,000 sq ft home on his $240,000 lot.
Imagine that. You drop yourself into a country totally foreign to you. You have whatever money you scraped together before leaving your 3rd world shithole. You don’t speak the language and know only the other foreigners from your clan who arrived before you.
You want to start a business? That requires capital, advertising, business licensing, employees, a reputation.
You cannot tell me these people are doing this without serious help: preferred loans, grants, subsidies, tax avoidance.
I’ve started 3 businesses. One thing I’ll tell you is it has been like pulling teeth over the years getting a loan for ANYTHING when you own a small business, unless you have YEARS of solid tax returns to show.
But this guy someone got financed for raw land, plus a construction loan, probably $750,000 in total?
And it’s not just him. It seems like every brand new truck at the gas station is being driven by a foreigner with no English.
This is not envy. We are very clearly being invaded and someone is helping the enemy army with my tax dollars.
2 years ago I lost a very lucrative contract to a crew of Hispanic foreigners who we outperformed by every metric (including pricing), all because the customer’s management was also Hispanic foreigners.
But we’ve all held our nose because we were told they were all going home. What a crock of bullshit that was.
So yeah people are about to snap, and when they do it’s going to be biblical.
Tampering. Corruption. This is not democracy.
Let’s make sure the entire world understands. In Brazil, judicial rulings in connection with federal elections are made by the court that has been in place for that very purpose, the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE).
@LulaOficial requested to the TSE that the polls be extended by two more hours in the entire country, citing “transportation problems.” Who controls the transport system? Lula’s government surely more so than a senator running for president.
Instead of waiting for a TSE ruling. @LulaOficial immediately asked Brazilian Supreme Court (STF) justice @Cristianozaninm to order the polls remain open WITHOUT any TSE ruling. Within minutes (did Zanin even read the filing?), the polls were ordered to remain open by Zanin.
The STF has 11 justices. What did Zanin do before becoming an STF justice? Oh yes, he was Lula’s criminal defense lawyer in his corruption cases.
If this blatant rigging of the elections will be used to announce that Lula won, is Lula seriously expecting anyone in the international community to recognize that as a free and fair election? He knows nobody will.
Has the desperation reached a point that today is the day the mask fully comes off and Lula becomes the next Nicolas Maduro? For the sake of Brazil, I pray that is not the case.
We knew, but now it will change everything.
WTF, $3000 Samsung TV has an always-on mic, automatic content recognition, geo tracking, network mapping, and ships your data to Samsung + 400 partners.
Bro Rooted a brand-new 2025 Samsung TV after noticing absurdly targeted ads.
Firmware was locked down, so zero-days it was.
Got a root shell.
then found: always-on voice service, ACR, geo, full telemetry pipeline, and four separate DRM systems.
This isn’t a bug, It’s the product bro.
Overreach.
Let me get this straight.
A guy keeps getting weirdly targeted ads on his new Samsung TV.
So he breaks into his own TV to find out why. 1.2M people watch.
42 hours later, OpenAI deactivates his account. Reason: "Cyber Abuse."
His words: "i have never used openai to exploit or find vulnerabilities, only local reverse engineering"
Same week, people on r/claude say Claude now cuts off reverse-engineering write-ups MID-SENTENCE:
"A safety check stopped my response partway through creating the playbook"
The TV is fine.
The guy who opened it is the problem.
Everyone is up in arms about the use of land throughout the world for the supportive infrastructure that allows for the continued proliferation of CI.
I can understand it.
Displacement of animals.
Ecosystem destruction.
The aesthetics of nature being eliminated.
The aesthetics of these massive structures that dwarf everything around them & stand out from the nature they sit within.
The noise & frequencies from the scale of compute.
The energy infrastructure that could further disrupt the local area to power these facilities, in most cases methane turbines & nuclear reactors.
Here's the thing.
There was always going to be so much bad with the good.
We are on the cusp of solving diseases & aging.
We are going to be able to literally enter into worlds of entire new problems alongside the advancement of food systems, water systems, & energy to run a far more prosperous society.
We will have robots running everywhere assisting us with complete naturalization of the earth, planting new forests, doing construction to bring natural systems all over the world again.
We may be able to bring back extinct species as well & create new animals & species.
The good is absolutely worth the bad!
The bad never goes away anyway!
