Secret Classified Document: "Extraterrestrials created a being 2000 years ago to teach humanity about love and nonviolence." Are these the same ETs turning on our nukes, snatching us from our beds & committing violence against our children? Sure, okay👽

Honestly I’ve been playing space sim games like Sins Of Solar Empire and commanding its actions in game. Incredibly fun. It reads all the in game data through something it calls a “bridge” and takes action. All on Sol 6.1 medium/fast so low usage for hours.

Right after being reunited with an old buddy from one of the most monumental times of his life 💔
Rest in peace, Mario Woods. In November 1977, Mario was a young Air Force security policeman at a nuclear missile site in South Dakota when he and his partner encountered something they couldn't explain. He was told never to speak of it, and for decades he didn't. Then he spoke out anyway. He went on the record, testified under oath to the Pentagon's UAP office, and spent years searching for the one man who was there with him that night. This year, after 49 years apart, he was reunited with Michael Johnson. I had the honor of interviewing Mario on The Good Trouble Show in May 2023. I'll never forget watching this big man, who had served his country, break down in tears as he relived that night. Husband, father, grandfather, Air Force veteran. Our hearts are with his family. We're putting together a tribute show for Mario tomorrow. More info to come. #TheGoodTroubleShow #UAP

Wtf...
A Black Hawk helicopter took them to the entrance. They descended through a tunnel and entered a long hallway leading to a T-junction and a horseshoe-shaped passage. The storyteller described a strong, sewer-like smell. As the team moved around the curved passage, the serviceman on its outer, left-hand side was allegedly struck in the chest by a weapon of the same kind they had been issued. He was killed, and the surviving personnel returned fire. According to Betts’s retelling, the attacker walked on two legs, looked mildly reptilian, had fingers and was carrying the weapon. The team had allegedly been told there were three beings inside the installation and killed all three.

The end of that book is somewhat... inconclusive for the human race...

There’s that term again: catastrophic disclosure. The result of an intersection of powers could force the Others into open contact. But what does that look like from a human POV? I think we should be careful what we ask for, if anything…

I’m playing Infection Free Zone with codex, getting 60 second updates and collaborating on strategy in game. Tried it with project zombies, it works but very slow an again with InZoi, total success! This is my new AGI test for each model. @sama @OpenAIDevs @OpenAI

Corso: "We had negotiated a kind of surrender with them [ET] as long as we couldn't fight them. They dictated the terms because they knew what we most feared was disclosure." Something to think about: why would we, humanity, fear disclosure? Bring forward truths that some prefer should remain in the shadows, and what do you get? You get undigestible truths. But truths nevertheless.
