Beth failed us! She did not ask Zach Lahn to state his position on abortion and he didn’t!! He’s afraid that it will cost him votes and it would!! WAKE UP IOWA: LAHN IS HIDING HIS REAL AGENDA ON WHAT IOWA “CULTURE” OR “FOUNDATION” SHOULD BE!! And it’s not protecting little girls!! IT’S FORCING WOMEN TO GIVE BIRTH OF ANY AGE OR MEDICAL ABILITY!! Children of any age would be forced to carry a rapist’s fetus whether medically able or not! Iowans must know!! Please include this question. Iowans do not want Lahn interfering in their healthcare and most believe the 6-week ban is too extreme.
With the AI revolution, the adverse effect on employment is starting to appear. Iowa must respond to this challenge and Rob Sand has already formed a task force on employment which will include AI! We can’t roll the dice on a Kansas fix when our kids future is on the line!

Turek voted AGAINST funding cuts for the disabled on the Medicaid bill NOT TO FUND SEX CHANGE SURGERIES. Josh also voted AGAINST the broad education bill with all Dems who opposed censorship of books- a 12th grader can’t read The Catcher in the Rye, or Catch-22, or The Color purple? And they want to go to college prepared? The bill remains in federal litigation on this and its vague terms! The Iowa State Education Association challenged the law:

It gradually expands the homestead deduction from $50K to $250k. It requires a multibillion dollar state trust fund to help local government which Iowa does not have.
