The draft of electric vehicle policy 2.0 is likely to be announced soon by the Delhi government.
According to the proposed policy, the government recommends transitioning public transport buses operated by DTC and DIMTS to electric buses.

Today, the Managing Director of #MTCChennai Dr. @prabhusean7, I.A.S., visited Delhi Integrated Multi-Modal Transit System Ltd. (DIMTS), a transaction advisory (TA) firm, to study the Operation of EV Buses under GCC model in New Delhi.
During the visit, the MD met with DIMTS CEO, Mr. Rakesh Jain, for a brief discussion, attended a presentation on DIMTS' initiatives, and later visited the Burari electric bus depot. The visit provided insights into the GCC model operation and the charging process for electric buses in Delhi.
