This is the saddest thing ever to watch. Wes Moore is looking for someone to play with because his race isn’t getting any national attention so he has to fabricate enemies.
Wes Moore keeps warning Marylanders about MAGA money influencing Question 3. Show the receipts, because the national GOP hasn’t poured anything into this state.
Meanwhile, campaign filings show $500,000 from George Soros-funded Democracy PAC and another $500,000 from an AFSCME fund going to Fight Back MD.
That’s $1 MILLION in reported transfers backing Question 3. Then there’s the $15 million Wes Moore has raised.
If outside political money is the problem, Governor, why aren’t you talking about the money supporting your side?
Vote NO on Question 3. If for no reason other than he is trying to turn this into another bronze star moment for himself.

So, let me get this straight. When Republican-led states engage in redistricting for political advantage, Governor Moore condemns it. But when Maryland proposes doing the same thing, suddenly it's acceptable? Hmm. Interesting.
Governor Moore, you have described gerrymandering in other states as "political redlining," an attempt to "silence Black voters and dismantle Black congressional representation," and politicians "picking and choosing" voters to benefit their party. Other states are diluting votes to determine who the winner will be before ballots are cast.
So which is it, Governor? If partisan gerrymandering silences voters, dilutes their votes, and undermines fair representation in Republican-led states, how does doing the same thing in Maryland suddenly become justified? It doesn't.
You cannot condemn a practice as an assault on democracy when the opposing party does it, then defend that very same practice when it benefits your own party. It's called hypocrisy.
The constitutional rights of Maryland voters should not depend on which political party stands to gain another congressional seat. Gerrymandering doesn't become democratic simply because your party is holding the pen.
I believe all Marylanders should have an equal vote and voice in Maryland.
It is why I am voting NO on Question 3

A video circulating out of Portland, Oregon shows a high school football player sprinting across the field and knocking down the kid carrying the American flag.
Friday night, Oct. 16. Grant High School at Jefferson High School, both Portland Public Schools. Grant ran out behind the flag. A Jefferson player in gold came in from the side, hit the flag carrier, and the flag went down. On camera, no adult steps in.
An Instagram account using Jefferson branding posted the clip with this caption: "This is what happens when you disrespect us... wasn't feeling that American flag 😂"
A laughing emoji. Over knocking down a kid holding the flag.
These are kids, so leave their names out of it. But the adults running this program owe everyone an answer. Was anybody disciplined? Has the district said one word about it?
If you want answers, contact Portland Public Schools and the OSAA and ask what they're doing about it.

Hear from @navyfb quarterback Jackson Gutierrez after a career-high 232 rushing yards & three touchdowns on 41 carries, the most for a Navy quarterback since Ricky Dobbs in 2008.
Gutierrez also threw for 95 yards and a score in Navy's 34-26 win over Tulsa.

I'm getting back into the habit of posting and just published a new blog post: The Virtual Loop: Our Culture of Moral Inversion.
The recent debate over whether the execution of the Fort Hood killer should be livestreamed reveals a glaring irony in our culture.
Many are quick to call broadcasting an execution "barbaric." Yet, we live in a society where graphic footage of actual human beings losing their lives routinely circulates, replays, and gets turned into political memes across social media. Where do we actually draw the line? One of the many questions I ask.
