APC, STOP BLAMING OTHERS FOR YOUR FAILURES! The NDC will not blame anyone for failing to deliver on its promises. The APC was not hired to blame people, especially opposition political parties, for its colossal failure in government. This is the message of incoming President Peter Obi at the inauguration of the NCC today.

SAVING THE BEST FOR LAST,NDC UNVEILS CAMPAIGN COUNCIL ON MONDAY PRESS STATEMENT NOTICE OF 3RD NEC MEETING AND UNVEILING OF THE NATIONAL CAMPAIGN COUNCIL (NCC) The leadership of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) wishes to announce that its 3rd National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting will hold on Monday, 26th October, 2026, at JD event centre ,Kashim Ibrahim Way, opposite A-class park, Maitama , Abuja.Time is 10 am prompt A major highlight of the meeting will be the release and presentation of the party’s Statement of Account by the National Treasurer. This is in deference to our avowed commitment to the principles of transparency and accountability. In this regard, we challenge other political parties, especially the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), to emulate this level of openness and transparency in the management of their finances. For the NDC, it is no longer politics as usual. Our finances would have been more robust. However, contrary to speculations in the public domain, and due to the level of poverty, hunger and deprivation in the country occasioned by the rudderless APC and its amorphous economic policies, about 80% of our candidates could not afford the Expression of Interest forms. The party had to issue forms to such candidates free of charge. The party will also use the opportunity of the NEC meeting to unveil its National Campaign Council (NCC). As a party of innovation, our NCC is all-encompassing. It covers the Presidential, National Assembly, Governorship, and State Houses of Assembly Campaign Councils. Our various candidates will be presented with Certificates of Return for their respective offices. The NDC is turbo-charged and ready to give Nigerians the altruistic leadership the nation deserves. A New Nigeria is Possible. We can do it! Signed: Osa Director Esq Nvational Publicity Secretary Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC 23rd October, 2026

HOW THE APC SELLS MINISTERIAL APPOINTMENTS AND FUELS CORRUPTION. BUT HELP IS ON THE WAY. OBI IS COMING;NDC IS THE VEHICLE. A New Nigeria is POssible. We can do it!
During my interview with Alwan Hassan, APC Presidential Campaign Council spokesman, on Arise TV’s Prime Time, he alleged that “a lot of ministers pay billions and billions” to secure appointments, and then enter office thinking about how to recover their money. I pressed him on the issue and reminded him that these are ministers that have been put there by the APC. He said the practice predates the APC. That makes the allegation even more serious. Who allegedly collects these billions? Who pays? Who is selling public appointments? And are Nigerians ultimately made to pay for it through corruption? If these claims are true, they demand a credible investigation. If not, Mr Hassan owes Nigerians a clear explanation. Who are the alleged beneficiaries, and will anyone be held accountable? Public office is a public trust, not a private investment to be recouped at taxpayers’ expense.

According to the CBN, cash held outside the banking system rose to #4.92 trillion. This is unsurprising. The APC may be stashing cash outside the banking system for vote-buying, which is its stock-in-trade. If the EFCC and DSS raid the houses and numerous guest houses of APC henchmen, they will be shocked by what they find. Vote out the buccaneers. A New Nigeria is POssible. We can do it!

PRESS STATEMENT FROM THE OFFICE OF THE NATIONAL PUBLICITY SECRETARY NIGERIA DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS, NDC DEFECTION OF SOME COMPROMISED CANDIDATES TO APC: GOOD RIDDANCE TO BAD RUBBISH - NDC It has come to the attention of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) that some candidates of our party have been bribed by the APC to defect to the ruling and ruinous All Progressives Congress (APC), obviously for pecuniary reasons. The NDC is fully aware of the desperate and malicious tactics of the APC, which has resorted to offering money, political appointments, and other material incentives to induce some money minded candidates of our party to jump ship and defect to its sinking fold. For those who have fallen for this bait, it is clear that they lack the values, virtues, and ideological commitment associated with our great party. They were never truly of us. To them, we say good riddance to bad rubbish, and we wish them luck in their political misadventures. In line with the provisions of the Electoral Act, 2026, the party will immediately conduct fresh congresses to elect credible, competent, and trustworthy candidates to replace the defectors in the affected constituencies We wish to reassure our teeming party members, supporters, and well-meaning Nigerians not to be perturbed by the antics of the ruling party in bribing a few of our members. These are the last kicks of a dying horse that has seen the handwriting on the wall of its imminent defeat. The NDC remains resolutely committed to its historic mission of rescuing our country from the vice grip of the buccaneers in power and giving Nigerians the good governance, security, and prosperity they so richly desire. A New Nigeria is POssible. We can do it! Signed: Osa Director Esq National Publicity Secretary National Democratic Congress (NDC) Abuja 20th October, 2026

PRESS STATEMENT FROM THE OFFICE OF THE NATIONAL PUBLICITY SECRETARY NIGERIA DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS WITHHOLDING OF RECOGNITION OF DIASPORA CHAPTERS OF THE PARTY The National Leadership of the NDC has reviewed its relationship with foreign chapters of the party operating in the diaspora and wishes to make the following clarifications: 1. The NDC wishes to withhold recognition of foreign chapters of the party in the diaspora. 2. We are deeply appreciative of the immense support of various foreign chapters in the diaspora. We are grateful for their unwavering loyalty, guidance, and contributions to the party. 3. However, as a political party committed to the virtues of accountability, transparency, and due process, we are aware of a subsisting court judgment restricting political parties from organizing foreign-based chapters. 4. In the matter between *Prof. Ali Alao v. All Progressives Congress (APC) & Anor, Suit No: CV/187/2025*, it was decided by Justice Peter Kekemeke at the FCT High Court in Maitama that, _"no political party registered in Nigeria has the legal authority to establish, operate or supervise chapters outside the country's territorial boundaries."_ The court further held that _"diaspora chapters of Nigerian political parties were illegal, unconstitutional, and unknown to the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria."_ 5. Therefore, the NDC, in deference to the said judgment, is halting recognition of foreign chapters of the party and all earlier recognitions are hereby withdrawn. 6. In jurisdictions where more than one group exists, a harmonization process has been initiated by the party to bring them under one umbrella. 7. The party is currently studying the judgment and has referred same to its Legal Department for further advice and guidance. 8. The party is aware of the tremendous interest that Nigerians in the diaspora have in our candidates, especially our presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi and we thank them and encourage them to sustain such interest with more vigour. 9. We encourage our supporters in the diaspora to continue to meet and interact, and we shall remain in touch with them through appropriate and legal channels. 10. Collectively, we must work hard to build a Nigeria of our dreams. We must rescue Nigeria from its present state of drift and hopelessness foisted on it by the rudderless APC. 11. A New Nigeria is POssible! Signed: Osa Director Esq National Publicity Secretary, NDC 18th October, 2026.
