HOW TO MAKE RUST MORE ENJOYABLE
Add sway/wind from very high buildings for snipers.
Add a new ammo type for L96
More expensive
Make L96 unrepairable after being broken so groups will be less tempted to roof camp for hours
Increase base radius to monuments so groups cannot roof camp as easily (wind and sway will fix this)
Nerf horse armor, add more sway to weapons when running full sprint on horse, add knee/leg shots to immobilize horse and make it fall over.
Make Heavypot more expensive.
introduce EMP grenades to temporarily disable auto turrets without explosives
Make a new work bench.
Tier 4
Move some of Tier 3 to Tier 4
Bring in a whole set of new weapons to lessen gap from Thompson to AK. The gap is way too far, the game was better when Tier 2 could somewhat compete. Kevlar armor being added made it more difficult. This would bring fresh guns as well as lessen the gap.

Did Cyberpunk 2077 just beat GTA 6 graphics?
The NVIDIA DLSS 5 Neural AI leak allows modders to enable it for nearly any game now, from Gatcha games to Skyrim and now Cyberpunk 2077.
YouTuber Swurvgaming shows off maxed out DLSS 5 Neural Rendering, which uses AI to render characters extremely realistically with higher fidelity than even GTA 6 arguable. Whether or not you like the look is something else.
Many are calling it the worst thing they've ever seen, with uncanny valley and AI slop accusation. If you look at my other posts like DLSS 5 on Skyrim, you will see the look can be subtle too and there are sliders you can use to tune it. Subtle is better, IMHO.
This is done via the RenoDX mod, which unlocks a still experimental NVIDIA DLL feature. This technology was first demo's by nVidia and took TWO 5090's to run. Now it's running at 30fps on a 5060 for many games like CONTROL.
I think this tech is going to start dominating games, not just for realism, but for stylized looks and refreshing older games like Skyrim, where the tech works without that feeling of creepy alienation. This is just one filter. With AI you can train it for a lot of different looks, like Anime or even something like Arcane. Changing the look of a game will be something available at the flick of a switch and personalized by you, the player's taste.

Nearly thirteen years ago, I discovered a game called Rust. Nearly eleven years ago, I was given the incredible opportunity to work on it by @garrynewman and @Helkus
I joined Facepunch from the community and worked my way up to COO and Executive Producer on Rust, originally from QA. Today, I’m stepping away and returning to where I started: as part of the community.
Rust and Facepunch have consumed a huge part of my life. I’ve loved it, fought for it and given it everything I had. Leaving has been one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made, but I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved. I've live my 10 year old dream.
Rust has one of the best development teams in the industry. For more than a decade, they’ve delivered monthly updates without fail, constantly improving, experimenting and pushing the game forwards. I’m proud of the culture we built and the legacy I leave behind.
Rust is currently reaching some of the highest numbers in its 13 year history across multiple platforms. Rust Mobile is also well underway, and I’m incredibly proud to have worked so closely with that team and helped bring Rust to an entirely new audience.
It's not always easy running a game of this scale, but I fucking loved it. Rust has made gaming history.
None of this would exist without the community. A game is nothing without the people who play it, support it, create content around it, run servers, make mods, report issues and continue play. You’ve challenged us, frustrated us, inspired us and helped shape Rust into what it is today. I’ll always be grateful for that.

I don’t have another job or some big new adventure lined up, but I can't wait to see what next sparks my passion.
The years I dedicated to Rust inevitably took time away from other parts of my life. Now it’s time to give some of that time back into the areas I sacrificed.
