More venues & events are only accepting Nimbus access card as proof of disability.
We're calling on the government to stop this by forcing these events to accept government letters or official medical proof which you can get for free.

#Disabled people need to know this: Rail Delivery Group has awarded @nimbusdis a £1.75m contract to decide Disabled Persons Railcard eligibility, reviewing medical/benefit evidence. This goes far beyond an access card. Where is the scrutiny of assessors, appeals and safeguards?

We’ve ordered StubHub UK to refund more than 50,000 fans and pay a fine close to £900,000 after it failed to include mandatory fees in the upfront price.
The price customers see should be what they pay.

Apologies for being quiet and absent. I've spent most of the last four weeks either in A&E or in Doctor's appointments as I've been having some worsening symptoms. I have no idea when they will be resolved. I will get back on the DAMN! bandwagon when I can but I can't right now.
Not surprised. This condescending response by Nimbus is standard from them.
They've accused me of being wrong and spreading misinformation but once I hold the mirror up to them and give them the evidence they went silent.

Nice to see youprioritise the media instead of Disabled people who forced the change from Merlin but again not attending meetings with disabled people is standard behaviour from Nimbus.
Form context this is due to thisnafternoons press release from Merlin about the response to the standing and queuing symbol updatemwhich has filled the MDs diary for the evening bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cx2g…
Fun fact. The nimbus founder invited me to go view how they operate their business and I was like sure I'll come and see it, here's my availability and then they ghosted me.
The access card is making it more difficult for Disabled people to attend events.
Oh what's that Nimbus actively involved with Discriminating against their own community of Disabled people.
*Pretends to be shocked*
It's Day 3 of 2026 and I'm already seeing reports of bad accessibility at a festival - Rockaway Beach at Butlins in Bognor Regis. Accessibility with raised platforms is available I've used it myself at a Butlins Weekender. However the organisers have seemingly not arranged such.
Good.
BREAKING: I understand former Lostprophets singer Ian Watkins - serving a 29-year sentence for child sex offences - has been murdered in Wakefield jail. More on @Channel4News shortly

This needs so much more attention. I have seen ticket prices rise to astronomical, almost unaffordable levels in recent years, and it needs to stop. Nobody should be priced out of seeing their favourite band.

Dynamic pricing is a plague on trying to buy tickets for live events.
Let's change that

Issues from this weekend so far...
- One festival having no access platform but having a VIP platform.
- Another refused a Disabled person's reasonable adjustment by bringing a chair into the arena because they didn't have the right proof.
Again why DAMN exists to fight this!
Bad accessibility at gigs and festivals is never an accident. It's deliberate.
Get more disabled people into the planning of accessibility at these events.
Is anyone here attending the Dubs of Rock festival in Leicestershire and can help a disabled woman stuck with bad access?
She needs help with getting her stuff across to the access camp
which they put that camp furthest away from the car park and staff refuse to help.
Hey any Deaf Oasis fans looking for a ticket still?
We may have a face value ticket available in the BSL zone for next Saturday's show at Wembley.
Message me and I'll signpost you to the seller ☺️

Are there any other #disabled, HoH, Deaf, Blind, visually impaired, Neurodiverse #F1 fans that attended #Silverstone for the #BritishGP this past weekend? I would really love to hear from you and what your personal experiences were. 🙏🏻
I am pleased to announce that Disability Accessible Music Now are one of the 138 organisations to sign the amendment tabled by Rachael Maskell calling for an immediate stop of these cruel Disability benefit cuts.

Tonight MPs have tabled a reasoned amendment on behalf of disabled people who have yet to have agency in this process. It is time their voices were heard. It is backed by 138 organisations @PippaCrerar @guardian
