Queer ppl will be like β€˜The reason I’m upset with Chappell lies exclusively with her harmful political stance’ and then finish the thought with β€˜and this is why I always said you can never trust a fucking lesbian’

Personally I think someone who’s been loudly supporting Palestine all year struggling to hide her venom towards the party who’s been instrumental in assisting the ongoing genocide is sort of normal actually and I don’t rly get what the big deal is. Y’all are good with them now?

I think theres a point to be made on how cracking jokes abt cis people being eggs in public could potentially step on a lot of toes (validly), but no amount of high-handed finger-wagging can hide the seething transphobic rage i saw in those qrts

some real guttural, nasty reactions to trans people getting close to things you like, trans men treated like lecherous predators for jokingly claiming a haircut, evangelical defensiveness over the sanctity of cis womanhood… it’s all here folks

The reality of globalisation hitting me for the dumbest reasons like looking at the diff cultural expectations for online korean vs western artists in regards to β€˜style theft’ like damn the reality of an intergrated platform might necessitate a middle ground neither of us wants…

If a Korean artist gets upset bc you’ve taken insp from their work and lifted several elements, that might be fine and normal etiquette where u come from, but does that invalidate their own perspective coming from a space where that’s tantamount to theft? much 2 think abt…

attitudes vary within every culture ofc but the overall attitude of β€˜is it weird to get upset abt this’ seems very different and i’ve noticed causes a lot of clashes between korean artists and their western fans
