Jura 15 Sherry palate: More sherried than the 22 Sherry. More of a Fino style, espresso, dusty dark chocolate, cherry liqueur. Rich with some depth to it. Quite a chewy mouthfeel. Wasn鈥檛 sure on first sip, but after properly coating my palate it鈥檚 much better. #JuraWhisky
Jura 12 Sherry palate: rich, sultanas, marshmallow flumps, pink Turkish delight, sticky toffee sponge without the sauce, hint of dunnage. Not overly sherried. I鈥檓 usually a bourbon cask guy but really enjoying this. #JuraWhisky
Jura 12 Sherry Nose: Sweet & fresh. Floor polish, coriander, icing sugar, fresh sawdust. #JuraWhisky
Jura 16 P: Nougat with almonds hits me right away. Following up are Abernathy biscuits, cherries and a hint of cream soda on the finish. #JuraWhisky
Jura 16 N: Marzipan, citrus fruits, a metallic note. #JuraWhisky
Dram 1. 12yr palate: lots of fruit, lemon peel, green apple, mango, some almonds. Wood spice. A nice starting dram #JuraWhisky

Having a pedal to @Ncnean later this morning for their Open Day. Forecast is looking a tad soggy, however Nc鈥橬ean will become Distillery #105 or is it #106 馃 on the #DistilleryBikes hitlist 馃馃毚
A great set of drams. The 12 ahead of the smoky 12 for me. The Forbidden Fruits a close third #GlenMorayWhisky
GM 12 Smoky Palate: Toasted marshmallow, bbq pulled pork, honeyed sponge. Smoke is now a bit more ashy & herbal. Some green apples. First time trying this, it won鈥檛 be my last. #GlenMorayWhisky
All set for a bit of future Cairn sampling #TheCairnDistillery
Thanks to Steve & Wemyss Malts for the opportunity to sample these. #WemyssMalts
The Intrepid Mariner, Palate: Coriander, Lemon Peel, Cream Soda, slight salinity, Parma Violets at the back of the palate (A first for me on a Bunna), a nice, easy sipper, not too complex. #WemyssMalts
Velvet Fig Palate: Rich Cherry Liqueur, Strawberries, Victoria Plums, Macadamia Nuts, Milk Chocolate. A well named & well put constructed whisky. #WemyssMalts
A Quarter Past, Palate: Honey, Honeydew Melon, Red Spangle Sweets, Forrest mushrooms on a damp day. Love this. #WemyssMalts
A superb evening and a good sum raised for @RNLI Stoney
Thanks to Andrew Wallace for coming up to Stonehaven and presenting a Springbank tasting to the Howff. All drams were greatly enjoyed. Special thanks to @Springbank1828 for donating the bottles. This allowed us to raise 拢770 for @RNLI Stonehaven Lifeboat.

Thanks to @WhiskyWeegie for a great event at the Howff yesterday. We had super afternoon. The blended Grain surprised and came out tops on the day. Due to the generosity of both @BNS_Whisky and those attending, 拢440 (拢550 with gift aid) was raised for @MaggiesCentres
On Skye for a couple of days so might as well take in @RaasayWhisky this morning and @torabhaig this afternoon. However, no bike, so they are not to become distilleries #104 & #105. 馃
What a super night. Thanks to @AberdeenShop and @DornochDist for fascillitating the case of 6 Mystery Malts for our wee club when the Series is in such high demand.
Great craic was enjoyed on yesterdays club night at @marinestoney. We unveiled & sampled 5 bottles from the wonderful @DornochDist Mystery Malts Series and I think we did rather well with the bottles we received. The Bruichladdich Rhinns coming out on top.
A super afternoon spent sampling great whisky and watching the novice paddle boarders toppling off 馃馃槂
Thanks to @RussellBrinklow and @gordon_macphail for an excellent tasting at the Howff yesterday. We managed to raise 拢667 for the G&M charity at the event.
