At the same time, russia will use Oleshky ceasefire to prepare and reinforce drone positions and infiltration bases on the islands and along the shore.
Ukrainian civilians will pay twice the price once the ceasefire is over.

Very interesting focus groups with Russians on their view of the war.
“A striking feature across all groups is a lack of compassion for others, be it towards Ukrainians or fellow Russians sent to fight. And, although some express worries about family members getting conscripted, this does not translate into sympathy for those at the front now. In fact, people dread the return of veterans, fearing new violence at home. (…)
When asked if Ukraine is a sovereign country, very few reply with a firm “Yes”. Most say it is not sovereign, or not fully so—if Ukraine is mentioned among the adversaries, it is usually the “Ukrainian regime”, not the country. There is a recognition that Ukraine became a full-fledged, independent state in 1991; but, after that, people believe something happened that caused it to lose sovereignty. They struggle to explain what precisely this was.
(….)
If the list of Russia’s allies is quite short, the list of unfriendly states is long. “Well—everyone else”, is often the first reply. The bigger European countries—Britain, France and Germany—are usually named first, followed by the Baltic states, Finland and Poland; sometimes also countries like India and Turkey. NATO is an enemy too, for most respondents—one explains that it is because “NATO keeps encroaching on other countries to bring about so-called democracy with bombs.” Ukraine is mentioned, but not as a first choice and somewhat hesitantly—not because it is not seen as an enemy, but because, as explored above, Russians might not regard it as a proper country. And even where it is mentioned, few participants connect its “enemy” status to Russia’s own invasion of Ukraine.
(…)
Europe’s image seems in many ways in sync with the Kremlin’s own rhetoric. People criticise it for “gay parades”, for “women at the helm”, for didactic lecturing. In some groups, people get into exchanges about Europe’s decline: some maintain Europe is withering away, pointing to pride marches and migrants as proof. Others point out that many states want to join the EU just to benefit from Germany’s or France’s economic might, or because they would otherwise be weaker on their own.
(…)
Almost no one connects the perceived European “antagonism” to Russia with Europe’s reaction to Putin’s invasion of Ukraine or any other actions by Russia. “I don’t know why the Finns are so antagonistic to us. Maybe they never got over the fact that we took over Karelia in 1940”, opines one respondent. Others complain about their positive attitude towards the Baltic states and these states’ negative attitude towards Russia: “I don’t know why they [the Baltic states] are so adversarial, most probably they were ordered to be like that”, concludes another participant. Confusion, propaganda, wilful ignorance and lack of curiosity probably all play their role in shaping Russians’ perceptions of their country and its external relations. And it also helps explain why the war in Ukraine still seems distant to many in Russia—and why Europe’s own reaction to the war is overwhelmingly seen as negative, almost unfair.
This brings to mind a conversation held by one of the authors with a Moscow sociologist long before the war. Explaining how the Russian people form opinions about the West, the scholar noted that Russia’s own role tends to get forgotten. “For instance, Russia invades Georgia—there is some outcry, then the West imposes sanctions, and soon the population will have decided that the hostile West has attacked Russia with sanctions. That something happened that led to it, that Russia did something—that is soon overlooked. People settle on the opinion that these small countries do not really matter, no one very much needs them, this is all about the West’s competition with Russia.” Some participants in the focus groups echo this: “On what basis is the US even imposing sanctions on us?!” asks one puzzled respondent.”

What Kriegsgefahr herbeireden doing?
Frage mich schon länger, wann und ob Ostwald und Haber Bosch Anlagen zum Ziel der Ukrainischen deep strike Kampagne werden.
💥 Uralkhim plant in Berezino, Perm region. Strike on nitrite salts workshop, - @DrnBmbr
Plant is the only Russian manufacturer of crystalline sodium nitrite. This substance is a basic component for industrial and military explosives used in the production of ammunition.
Die ganzen Leute, die ununterbrochen von der NATO Osterweiterung als Grund für den Krieg reden, merken überhaupt nicht, wie Putin immer wieder ihr Argument widerlegt.
Putin just now according to TASS:
-The territories lost by Kyiv are not "their territory," but historically Russian lands.
-It is inappropriate for Kyiv to talk about any territorial losses. The residents of Donbass and Novorossiya voted to reunite with Russia.
-Russia has informed the United States that it is ready to resume trilateral negotiations on Ukraine.
-It has become clear to everyone that it is impossible to defeat Russia on the battlefield.
-Russia does not want to fight with Ukraine; it is Kyiv that wants to fight.

Amazing that Russian embassy would use a photo of the Donetsk Airport terminal that was largely destroyed by Russia/“DPR” forces in attempting to dislodge Ukrainian defenders way back in 2014-2015 as it’s example of “attacks by Ukrainian forces” since 2022
You can’t make this up
Angesichts dieser Zahlen muss man sich die Frage stellen, ob man nicht durch entschlossetnere militärische Hilfe mehr ukrainische Leben hätte retten können.
Es fällt mir schwer meine Verachtung in Worte zu fassen.
A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children.
I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.

GeoConfirmed UKR - Statement.
As a lead admin, I am so angry that I cannot write a proper thread at this point.
The US President, Mr Trump, is lying.
Again.
Either he is living in his own reality and is clearly unfit to be president, or his advisers are not telling him the truth. But based on his constant stream of contradictory statements and promises, we all know what the problem is...
Regardless of whether one wants to negotiate with Russia or not, claiming that:
“Russia, frankly, has been fine on Ukraine; they haven’t been doing much.”
is an outrageous lie.
IT IS A LIE!
BASED ON FACTS.
As a volunteer geolocation and mapping platform, GeoConfirmed has mapped more than 60,000 pieces of footage to their exact locations in the Russia–Ukraine conflict alone. That footage is visible to everyone on our map, and anyone can review the geolocation process. That is why we are called GeoConfirmed: we confirm the location of footage.
Recently, you told the world that there would be an energy ceasefire, even though neither party appeared to know about it. When a journalist asked you about it, you gave your now-famous answer: “They agreed, because I said they agreed.”
(youtube.com/shorts/VyBA_OR3m…)
Ukraine honored the ceasefire you called for, while Russia did not!
Regarding your latest claim: “Russia, frankly, has been fine on Ukraine, they haven’t been doing much” You could not be more wrong. Are you inventing your own reality, or are your advisers failing to inform you?
Below are the entries from the last four months, sorted by the icons of civilians killed and buildings destroyed.
Russia is committing war crimes on an almost daily basis. It is targeting civilian-populated areas more than ever before.
Mr. President Trump, you are a liar.
Get your act together.
You may be able to lie to your own people, but the world will witness how delusional you are.
The facts are there, only a blind person could fail to see them.
Are you blind, Mr. President?
(@realDonaldTrump)
Is this how you want to be remembered?
