You ran when the road was uncertain. You stood tall when the outcome wasn’t what we’d hoped. And instead of allowing defeat to define your story, you continued the work of making sure our voices were heard.
Your courage, your grace, your commitment to voting rights, and your power to organize helped lay the groundwork for a Georgia that looks different today.
And while we celebrate this historic victory and the wave of change sweeping across the country, we cannot forget the women who helped make moments like this possible.

The way y’all giving credit to the step by step groundwork done by black women in the south to some mayor in NYC seems…disappointing. Especially since the wins came from high volume of black voters. The percentage share in race & gender are the same as last election.

People of Florida. Y’all better hold your damn head high. We broke state legislature super majorities because we drove turnout while everyone wrote us off.
We have work to do sure, but let’s celebrate the fact we won 17 seats down ballot.
I’m an organizer. And I look forward to getting back to what I love and know best. Organizing THE HELL out of my state.
