People who post false information and then restrict who can reply are infuriating. You're spreading misinformation and now allowing anyone to tell you that you're doing so. God this platform is frustrating.
Many of these folks screaming about how Watcher isn't worth a subscription are the same damn people who say that artists should be paid for their work.
Which one is it? Should artists be fairly compensated or is their work not worth a damn?
To the Watcher Whiners: let's play some math games. Let's say they get 15k for a sponsorship on a video (strictly guessing, I have no insider info). 4 times per month, 60k in sponsor money.
Now, let's say they convert even 10k subs from their 3 million youtube subs.
60k per month. And I suspect they will do much better than than.
This allows them to actually branch out, be independent of sponsors and youtube Flux. It's a positive move for the company. It allows then to grow, bring on new talent, and produce more.

Had an absolutely wild time last night with @ElectricCallboy @SolenceOfficial and @conquerdivide!! We knew EC would kill it, but I'm so excited that both of the openers KILLED IT and I've got two new bands to go nuts over! Hope Boston treated you all well!
Just got out of the last stop of the @Yellowcard tour in Portland ME. Amazing show, everyone played their hearts out. BUT I have to say my biggest surprise of the night was @thiswildlife. They were so much fun, definitely happy I snagged two LPs tonight. I will spread the word!
