THE SEC IS ABSOLUTE CHAOS THIS YEAR. There is genuinely no such thing as a guaranteed win in this conference anymore. Kentucky beat LSU. LSU shut out Mississippi State. Mississippi State beat South Carolina. South Carolina crushed Florida. Florida embarrassed Ole Miss.

Candice Swanepoel is only 38 years old. Tom Brady is 49 years old. An 11-year age gap between Brady and the Victoria’s Secret supermodel. 😳😳😳

Among the 9 teams in the SEC with 1 or 2 losses overall, there are still 10 more guaranteed losses to be distributed: Florida-Georgia Alabama-LSU Georgia-Ole Miss Kentucky-Tennessee Texas-Missouri Missouri-Georgia Florida-Kentucky Texas-LSU LSU-Tennessee Kentucky-Missouri Georgia (Georgia Tech) and Kentucky (Louisville) also still have P4 non-conference games to play.

Not a Kanell guy, but he is right about this. This is coming for all sports (though not as dramatically or rapidly, since there is such a financial incentive to be great in football and to lesser extent college basketball).
I keep seeing people asking “is anyone good in college football?” This is why we need to retrain our brains for what we’ve grown accustomed to for the last 50 years!!

Correct: Water is wet.
Jalen Williams Likely Dislocated And Fractured His Ankle. Per, @BrianSuttererMD “Dorsiflexion means the toes are pulled up towards the shin — that locks and engages the ankle mortise between the talus, the tibia, and the fibula… That ultimately leads to, at minimum, a dislocation, and most of the time a fracture as well. You can have the reverse — just a fracture without a dislocation, or a simple dislocation with no fracture — but the majority of the time when we see this, you can assume the ankle is likely dislocated along with having a fracture.”

With NIL and wide-spread 5th years, this is going to be half of the teams in D1 next year.

Another thing, when you lose a couple of games in any sport, people will start chirping about lineup changes, or playing this or that bench player. 1) HC (eg 22 yr vet @UKCoachSkinner) and coaches watch all of the practices & training and know way more about who earned opportunities than us. Always right, or beyond questioning? No, but have some humility. 2) The new 5 yr rule and NIL are radically changing college sports fast. Freshmen are rarely going to be coming in and beating out now many 4-5 year starters, and NIL will make top teams less deep over time but teams will be able to fill roster holes with veterans. It is a new world, trust the process and have patience.

Healthy Embiid is even a better Jokic than Jokic. We have enjoyed what we have gotten though (and I do like Jokic).
The thing to remember with the Sixers is they will have pressure points. Watch the ball movement out of it. Embiid brings it up has a cross match, defense helps. Kick, gets it back, more help, right to Edgecombe for 3.

"Lost by 1 possession in the most-hostile atmosphere in CFB history." Kentucky has great atmosphere, but that is quite a statement. There are some other, lesser teams that have pretty good atmosphere too.
What y'all don't want to admit right now is that LSU is the best team in the SEC. Lost by 1 possession in the most-hostile atmosphere in CFB history. Beating teams with a QB who is on one leg. Lane Kiffin is playing chess. Everyone else (besides Georgia) is playing checkers.

.@UKFootball is +13 in Turnover Margin in 8 games. Since 2016, an NFL team that wins TOV margin in a game wins 69.6% of the time. Home teams won only 57.2%. Teams that won the turnover margin by two or more won 83.9%, and 90.7% when winning TOVs by three or more. @CoachWillStein
