#ProfessionalSocieties can and should step up and take on leadership roles in holding members accountable. I know many are working on this [e.g. @AnimBehSociety @ISBE2022 @AAS_arachnology] and I hope others are as well.

Disheartened & sickened to see a continued lack of accountability for such abhorrent behavior. We need to do better colleagues! @AnimBehSociety will have a statement coming soon that outlines ongoing work on policies and procedures for ethics violations just like this.

Long overdue update on setting up a sustainable lab. First, THANK YOU to everyone who replied with suggestions! ❤️ all the enthusiasm for reducing lab waste! Thread on what I found, loosely organized from easy (low cost, low effort) to challenging to implement. 🧵(1/n)

I just pushed a new version of the metafor package (version 3.0-0) to CRAN. This has been long overdue. This version includes a lot of updates that have accumulated in the development version of the package over the past 14-15 months. I will mention some highlights.
