Thank you for all your support and encouragement during Bramble’s training journey. It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our search dog Bramble. She died from Leukemia, just 10 weeks after saving a life during her first operational callout.

Happy Christmas one and all! Here’s to all the amazing smells, and faith that the hoomans will be increasingly weak to the puppy eyes as the day progresses!

Another nighttime search this week, finding our amazing @MRSearchDogsEng #volunteer #dogsbodies in the dark. #dogtraining #searchandrescue @NNPMRT

Y’day, alongside @NNPMRT, I was at #alwintonshow where I entered the dog show. I had a great time, and placed first in working dogs category 💪 Thx everyone who took part, helping raise funds for @GNairambulance & @NNPMRT #searchandrescue #dogshow #winner @MRSearchDogsEng

Training in the #peakdistrict this weekend were bigger, longer, harder searches with lots of technical steep ground and crags to negotiate. #dogtraining #searchandrescue #mountaindog @MRSearchDogsEng @NNPMRT

This weekend I was training with @MRSearchDogsEng , and the boss and I passed our ‘stage 2 search training’ test - next we move to the third and final stage, ‘operational training’. It was a tough weekend with the heat, but I did good 💪💪🐶🐾🐾 #success #dogtraining @NNPMRT

Y’day in a wet #kielderforest I took part in @NNPMRT #training exercise. I did my job & made the find - barking in hooomans for ex. cascare (a v long down stay for me!) before evacuation. 💪🐶🐾 #ifoundthemyoufixthem #teamwork #searchandrescue #trainingexercise @MRSearchDogsEng

My happy face after finding a #dogsbody on #dartmoor during this months @MRSearchDogsEng national #dogtraining. @NNPMRT

Nothing better than a nibble on a big stick after a long tiring search and finding a favourite dogsbody last night. #dogtraining #searchandrescue @MRSearchDogsEng @NNPMRT

What an evening to be out finding people in the sand dunes of Northumberland. #summer #sanddunes #dogtraining @NNPMRT @MRSearchDogsEng

Last night was a lovely evening to play my favourite game, and search for playful friends 🐶 @MRSearchDogsEng @NNPMRT

There’s nothing quite like working beneath a #northumberland #sunset. I was desperate to work this evening on my walk, but with no body to hide for me we had to make do with searching for the boss’ hat @NNPMRT @MRSearchDogsEng #searchdogintraining #workingdog #alwaysworking

Post exercise sleepyness with my buddy Stella. #offduty #playfulpups #postworkout #sleepingdog @NNPMRT @MRSearchDogsEng

Spring was in the air this morning while training and having fun finding #dogsbodies near #alwinton in @NlandNP Big thanks to the bodies for coming out and hiding to make the training possible. @NNPMRT @MRSearchDogsEng

It’s #sundayfunday and hidden in the #northumberland #sanddunes are lots of playful #dogsbodies. #playtime #searchdogintraining #searchdog #dogtraining #beachlife #beachdog #mountaindog @NNPMRT @MRSearchDogsEng

This weekend I was training with @ScottishMR #searchdogs who came to #wooler and the @NlandNP for their training. We learned loads working with new people, and I loved finding all the new bodies! @NNPMRT @MRSearchDogsEng

Throwback to Saturday on the #fiacaillridge on @NNPMRT #winterskills #training, and spending some time helping team members be a radio relay for an unexpected ongoing incident down below. @MRSearchDogsEng

ROADTRIP!!! Alongside fellow @MRSearchDogsEng and @NNPMRT Trainee Search Dog Merlin, I’m off in search of #snow in the #highlands for #winterskills #training. #makewintercount #searchdog #mountaindog

After every training session the boss has to write up a report, but as I keep telling him, giving me a fuss is clearly far more important and pressing. #fussmenow #dogtraining @NNPMRT @MRSearchDogsEng
