Just watched the OG Wicker Man. I didn’t realize the antagonist was Christopher Lee until I looked it up. Kept thinking, dang this guy is tall like me. He was actually taller than me.
This would fix so much of our problems.
It takes at least 3 generations for a family to truly become assimilated into the USA, it is a complex process of cultural, economic, and social integration. Language barriers, economic stability, legal processes, and educational attainment all play roles in their aspiration.
Each generation builds upon the previous one, gradually blending traditions with new cultural practices. It's a multifaceted process that requires time, effort, ambition, and resilience.
We must make the process of assimilation a journey. When you give people something for free or too easy to attain, they do not value it.
We MUST demand that only people who hunger to BE AMERICAN, not just BE IN America, are the ones we let in.

My wife’s cousin “beat cancer” a few years ago. Had to go back on chemo a few months ago. Was released from the hospital yesterday. Hospice and 8 weeks is what they said. She passed away this afternoon. She was an angel on this earth of a person. RIP Fatima. See you soon.
This was an older brother of an amazing girl my daughter went to high school in Oregon with. Her family is devastated and I hope the animal that did it is hunted down and disassembled like he deserves.

Dinner is crawfish jambalaya with Green River Ghost hot sauce by @Half_A_Pond let me tell you, it brings the heat and is delicious! As, a guy that loves a sauce that can make you sweat, this one nails it!
