Since the Daytime Emmys air this Friday night on YouTube, can ALL soap opera fans and insiders take a deep breath, inhale, and exhale and prepare for our celebration of all of the nominees and potential winners? I just want to celebrate 96 years of the genre without the bullshit.

For the last time, I have been advocating for ALL my Black soap opera actors, characters, and representation for YEARS! I don't have any issues with Lily Amanda Winters & CK in 2026 so I am continuing to watch and support my stories and preparing for the Daytime Emmys. Aché!!!!

Some people need to learn how to read and comprehend tweets instead of getting emotional and confrontational over soap operas, actors, and characters. I am not here to argue back and forth all day long over unhealed traumas and triggers. Aché!!!!

Good Morning Everyone! Since I am now officially a soap opera insider as a co-host of GateCrashers: A Beyond The Gates Podcast for Suds and Squared Circle Media, I will no longer go back and forth about whatever with people. I will be taken seriously as an insider. Aché!!!!!

I will always speak of Sheryl Lee Ralph refusing victimhood with the narrative of no roles for Black women in Hollywood after 40 on LIVE WITH REGIS AND KATHIE LEE. She took her money and created her own short film, SECRETS, in 1997. We can use our gifts and talents to make moves.

I always state that people have the right to create their own content if they don't see themselves reflected, if something is lacking or if they don't like what is there. We all have gifts and talents so let's do something about it then instead of bitching for 24/7/365 for likes.

I am supporting Beyond The Gates all the way. All soaps have had their 1st-2nd year slump and some later became classic soaps. Black folks have been begging Daytime for Black representation for decades. We have it now. I am happy for it. It works for ME!!! #BeyondTheGates

Since this is my last year in my 40s, I have been in the process of doing the WORK in my personal, professional, and social media lives. I am now the co-host of GateCrashers with the Suds and Squared Circle Media. I now know my Why/Whys. Most people grow and evolve with time.

Lily Amanda Winters is heading to Fairmont Crest with Devon on November 4! I am GAGGING right now! Lily is a fan of the Articulettes: Anita Williams Dupree, Tracy Tyler, and Sharon Winger. I never thought. Never mind. LOL #BeyondTheGates #LilyWinters #YR

Sybil Thorne was a nurse and the baby mama of Dr. Cliff Warner. She gave birth to their son, Bobby, who was adopted by his wife, Nina. She was besties with Betsy Kennicott. She was murdered by her lover, Sean Cudahy #AMC #SybilThorne #SeanCudahy #RIPAlanDysert

Sean Cudahy and his women: Daisy Cortlandt (Monique Jonvil), Devon McFadden, Sybil Thorne, and Cecily Davidson. He also slept with Cecily's mom, Bitsy, behind her back #AMC #SeanCudahy #RIPAlanDysert

I am shocked by the death of Alan Dysert (Sean Cudahy, All My Children) at 75. RIP Alan Dysert (1951-2026)!!!!

Soap name association: Joey and Heather Armstrong (BTG) with Joe Kelly and Heather Webber (GH). Joe Kelly was a lawyer who was involved with Heather Webber during the early 1980s on GH. #BeyondTheGates #BTG #GeneralHospital #GH #SIPDouglasSheehan

I wonder if Beyond The Gates got the idea of Uptown from Peter Thomas's former nightclub Uptown Restaurant and Lounge. Was Dani inspired by Cynthia Bailey, who began modeling at 18? #BeyondTheGates #RHOA

My five are Susan Lucci, Darnell Williams, Debbi Morgan, Andrea Evans, and Victoria Rowell #Soaps4Life

I know some soap fans only care for legacy children's births but Hayley's child will not be the first born on the show. Ashley and Andre assisted with the birth of Ashley Andrea in the hospital elevator last year. Her mom was a patient named Alix #BeyondTheGates #AshleyAndrea

So yall know that Edmonia, who lit into Martin on Beyond The Gates, was named after sculptor Edmonia Lewis. Edmonia was a woman of mixed African-American and Native American heritages. She has been described as queer by some historians. #BeyondTheGates #Edmonia #EdmoniaLewis

Happy National Soap Opera Day, y'all! Painted Dreams was the first daytime radio soap opera created by Irna Phillips, the Queen of Soap Operas, on October 20, 1930. It aired on WGN in Chicago. 96 years of the soap opera genre!!!! #NationalSoapOperaDay #96YearsOfSoapOperas

Sleep In Peace, Diane Sommerfield!!!! #DAYS #ClassicDAYS #DaysOfOurLives #ValerieGrantNo3

Sammy loved his soaps!!!!
