π₯Doctorsπ₯ This GMC advice may be v relevant to you this winter:
Juniors, no matter how worried you feel, *please* document & escalate your concerns.
Seniors, please support & back your juniors in doing so.
CEOs, please lead from the top on this.

We know this is very difficult. Our advice is that where service pressures affect you and risk patient safety, itβs vital to escalate & document concerns, but donβt walk away. You should work with colleagues to provide the safest care you can with the resources available to you.

Some reports of a modified Single Question in Delirium (SQiD) being used, & if +ve, followed by tool eg. 4AT.
Does anyone have experience of this?
