Today is my last day as an Active Travel Officer in Doncaster. I want to say a huge thank you to @PWLCProjects @MyDoncaster for the opportunity to do such a brilliant job. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with fantastic schools and partners.
Doncaster really is great! 😁
I thoroughly enjoyed visiting @LittlemoorAcad yesterday to deliver Scooter Skills. The children practiced braking, using their weaker foot, gliding and crossing the road safely through fun, imaginative games and challenges.

Fantastic turnout from @CastleHillsScaw today. 23 out of 30 Y6 pupils taking part. Children are taking part in fun games and challenges to improve their balance, coordination and road safety awareness 🚴♀️🚴♂️

An active #school journey certainly isn’t a boring one – there are plenty of ways to keep little ones entertained as they cycle, scoot or walk.
Have you tried a wildlife checklist, playing I-Spy or setting goals for how far you can #walk? modeshiftstars.org/step-out-…

These pupils at Barnburgh Primary school celebrated the last day of term with some Scooter Skills!
As well as learning how scooting to school is good for our health and the environment, these children showed off some awesome skills and could even hopscotch on a scooter 😮🛴

With the warmer weather creeping in, it feels like #Spring is finally here – and it’s the perfect time to start an active school run! By walking, #cycling or scooting to #school, we can make the roads safer and the air quality better. modeshiftstars.org/step-out-… #StaySafeGetActive
