JOWIE IRUNGU is a murderer according to the judge and until the court rules otherwise he stands condemned. But here is why I have my doubts: 1. The 10 minutes timeline: Jowie arrives at Monicah’s apartment disguised as Haron. ( hold on to this name for a minute). Mind made up, he is allowed into the apartment, not as Jowie but as Haron. Did the guard call Monicah to say “ Madam Haron is here, anaweza ingia?” to which Monicah replied “Mpe simu niongee na yeye” only to find it Jowie and allowed him to come up? Or did the guards - assuming one or two of them were on duty the past few days when Jowie visited-realize he is posing as Haron and just let him in? The ID, did it have Haron’s face? Or was it Haron’s but with Jowie’s mugshot? Let's move into the house: Jowie has fooled all the guards and gone into the building as Haron; knocks on the door, Monicah lets him in and still determined to kill Monicah, finds her in the company of three other men…. Remember he still has ten minutes.? Dressed in kanzu and Monicah not showing any signs of distress, jokes about his dressing…. in fact, one of the men says he “felt at home” 1/4

Bwana come slowly! We are not ready for such a conversation!
Kibaki who had his wife acting like a co president, presided over 8000 extrajudicial killings, had the Artur brothers running a mafia within the police, and gave business to his buddies bypassing government institutions doing the same jobs —is today celebrated as a hero. Kiawa!

In 2002 we had a chance to reset this. By 2005 we had reverted back to Moi and Kenyatta days… Kibaki enabled this slide to factory settings.
Replying to @Donsarigo
You are being disingenuous when you say kibaki killed what makes us Kenyans as if Kenya was a paradise when Kibaki took over. Tribalism, state capture, political thuggery, rigging elections was the norm, is that what makes us Kenyan?

Replying to @eraadie @Donsarigo
Moi continued where Kenyatta left off and surpassed Kenyatta by far. Remember goldenberg where a significant percentage of the country's gdp was stolen in broad daylight and nothing happened. The Ouko murder etc. All our leaders have been thieves

Bana, I can't say such. But I hear you.
Kibaki was a power hungry leader who killed 1500 Kenyans displacing 500,000 others for his selfish ambition. He died old and sick with the blood of millions on his head.

I’m aware. Spot on!. Are you aware Kibaki did the same in the rest of the country? This is a good conversation Kiana.
Replying to @Donsarigo
Are you aware Moi killed coffee and tea business in Mt. Kenya simply because they were against him? Roads were ripped off in Agri rich areas...etc As it is, I also hear the KCC Milk machines have been removed from Mt. Kenya by the current one.... Selective amnesia indeed.

There is no political contradiction! You did not see Moi’s name in the tweet so you decided I committed it!. I was addressing Kibaki’s record that has been touted as the best.
My issue is the political contradiction: you can’t ignore the years of Raila and Ruto conditioning—“50 vs 1” was hammered into us and both sides stole votes then blame Kibaki alone. That’s not the full story; it’s a convenient narrative dressed up as neutrality—you disgust me! 😒

Ndegwa, I doubt this was the intention. I have said this about Kibaki for the last ten years
Such a post has only one intention, the only card left for this regime to play; crank up tribal tensions so hard that Kenya becomes dangerously polarized as we head into elections. They’re banking on division, on turning communities against each other, just to cling to power.

True
Kibaki was the beginning of the sale of Kenyan sovereignty to private interests. Privatization, globalization and debt started with him

Dennis, you've tried to make this point stick before but to paraphrase my niece, it's not giving. That you're an accomplished reporter means you have the pulse of Kenya's history and these facts at hand but here you are not letting facts get in the way of a good story.

There is no room for a sober conversation! 😂😂 I was addressing Kibaki… Moi was dark. He killed a sitting cabinet minister. Ethnic cleansing and torture sustained him in power. Kibaki stole an election and presided over the killing of 1400 people.. The highest number ever in Kenyan history.
Instead of questioning your reasons, they've seen the name & jumped to conclusions So unwittingly & unfortunately the reply & quote twts are proving you right

Some people get emotional when discussing Kibaki. Kenya united under Kibaki and he basically squandered the goodwill by retreating to his tribal cocoon. Ngilu, Wamalwa, Raila and Kirwa were replaced by Muthaura, Kimunya, Murungaru and Keriri. We have truly never recovered.

I worked at Mwenge House and campaigned for Kibaki. Wasn't he Kikuyu at the time?
Moi comes as a by the way as all your guns are pointed to Kibaki for being a Kikuyu.

I was addressing Kibaki Moi nurtured and rewarded mediocrity using his tribe. He systematically killed the civil service.
Replying to @Donsarigo
As if some of us were not alive during the Moi regime when Kalenjin ethnic nationalism was the norm leading to the collapse of so many parastatals and the start and rise of ethnic clashes. Nonsense
