Today, I should've been at my friend's wedding. Instead, I'm sat at home crying, cos I told them I have Covid. I don't. I simply could not afford the £150 petrol, £120 hotel room, £60 drinks tab, £100 gift, £65 outfit, and pay my rent.
“We are all living in cages with the door wide open.” George Lucas said that. I read it earlier and haven’t stopped thinking about it since.

As a teacher, several students who were heavily dyslexic needed support. No budget, so for GCSE coursework, I typed what they said with some extra. All 3 got a C, passed nothing else. All got to do the courses they wanted because of that pass. Gove was a cunt.
Started my last lockdown loo roll today. Turns out I stockpiled 26 months worth.
