Shame on you, @RockstarGames @Take2Interactiv. You’re taking one of the most anticipated games and using it to take advantages of customers with your overpricing & digital only bull shit! As a once loyal customer, I am disgusted.

As a manager I am always consistently fighing higher ups to keep people on my team.
You give people loyalty & they will always be thankful & loyal back & will give their best.
I hope more companies learn from this example going forward.
Eiji Aonuma, a lead developer on the Zelda series since 1998, believes Nintendo not doing mass layoffs is a key part of their success.
He says keeping very long-term employees who can teach junior devs has "a real benefit" and helps Nintendo make truly great games.
You better lay your fucking hands off him 2026! You taken away more than enough!

This is why the quality of Nintendo games have been maintained for decades, since the 80's. They are allowed & even encourage to retain older veteran staff, to direct the next generation to maintain standards. NOT chase them out to fill quotas! The results speak for themselves!
Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma explains why Nintendo values keeping devs around long-term rather than constantly replacing staff.
“I think you see a real benefit to having some very long-term-tenured staff members around who have shared the same experiences over time.”
He says having veteran developers helps pass knowledge between projects and makes it easier to bring new people into the team.
“There is a continuity of core staff […] so that we have that base that we can build from and bring up new staff within it.”
Aonuma believes this balance helps Zelda evolve while keeping what makes the series special
It’s really different from the mass layoffs from western gaming culture

Eiji Aonuma says he is no longer nervous about The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time remake after talking with people who have played the game!
"Now am I feeling today? Well, since we’ve arrived in New York, we’ve had these really good opportunities to talk to media. These are folks who, of course, got early copies of the game for the purpose of reviews. And I got to hear about their experiences playing, and some of them talked about being moved to tears while playing, which was amazing for me to hear.
And now knowing that with the official release, many more people will be able to play and share their experiences with us. So, yes, I would say that my nerves have calmed quite a bit, and I’m feeling very happy right now."

Beyond honored to announce that I'm the English voice of Princess Zelda in The Ocarina of Time Remake. OoT was my favorite N64 game as a kid and it's still so hard to believe I even get to make this post, so you'll have to forgive me as it's a little hard to find the words to say
