The Munich Security Conference (MSC) has disinvited me for the second time in two weeks at the behest of the German Government, under threat from the Islamic regime in Iran. The Ayatollah is pulling the strings in Berlin.
This is a betrayal of both the Iranian people and Germany’s democratic values. This German government has not only silenced the voice of the Iranian people but has actively done the Islamic Republic’s bidding.
Instead of supporting those fighting for freedom, Germany has chosen to appease a dictatorship that murders its citizens, takes Europeans hostage, and sponsors terrorism.
While the Foreign Ministry denied influencing MSC's decisions, the MSC’s latest statement exposes this as a lie. A lie the German government repeated to the German people and the German media.
The regime's desperation to block my participation shows its weakness— they're now outsourcing censorship to Berlin.
But the Iranian people are resilient and strong. They will remember who sided with their oppressors. Despite Germany's duplicity, Iran will be free.

I am pleased to have been informed by @MunSecConf that my invitation to the Munich Security Conference has been maintained.
This conference, like all public engagements, was always about my compatriots and having their voices heard on the world stage. So I will go with a message from the Iranian people: our fight is not just to free Iran, but the world, from the terror and blackmail of the Islamic Republic.
On behalf of my compatriots, I will tell the international community that at this critical moment of opportunity it is time not just to stand but to act in solidarity with Iranians. It is they, the people of Iran, who will bring lasting peace to the Middle East when they end the reign of the warmongers in Tehran.
I thank the Munich Security Conference, my team, and all those who lent their voices to ensure the Iranian people’s could be heard in Munich.

The German Foreign Ministry’s intervention to block my participation places Germany on the wrong side of history.
So while the German government caves to the Islamic Republic, I urge the German people to stand with Iranians fighting for human rights and democracy— not only for Iranians’ sake, but for their own.
Along with my compatriots, I will continue my campaign to free Iran, and with it the world, from the terror of a regime that has been allowed to hold humanity hostage with its blackmail for far too long.
This decision was not about silencing me. This was about silencing the Iranian people. It was about silencing all those who stand for freedom, justice, and dignity. And that we will not stand for.
Despite attempts to deny the Iranian people a voice at this conference, I will nonetheless be traveling to Munich. For while we seek friends and allies in foreign capitals, we know our liberation is in our hands and will never be determined by foreign governments.

در برلین تصمیمی گرفته شده است که مردم ایران را به حاشیه براند، صدای آنان را خاموش و از جمهوری اسلامی دلجویی کند.

روز جهانی محیط زیست را به حافظان و کوشندگان این حوزه شادباش میگویم. این روز برای ما ایرانیان یادآور این نکته مهم است که هر ثانیه بقای بیشتر رژیم فاسد و بیکفایت جمهوری اسلامی، زیستبوم ایران را بیش از پیش به نابودی میکشاند، و جان بخشی دیگر از میهن زیبای ما را میستاند و به کویر و بیابان تبدیل میکند.
بهگواه کارشناسان محیط زیست، در چهل و چند سال گذشته اغلب مخاطرات و بحرانهای محیط زیستی همچون جنگلزدایی، بیابانزایی، فرسایش خاک، مرگ آبخوانها و تالابها، فرونشست زمین، و نابودی تنوع زیستی ایران روندی فزاینده و دهشتبار داشته است. نجات ایرانزمین و زیستمندانش در گرو سرنگونی این رژیم و جایگزینی آن با یک حکومت ملی و دموکراتیک است که #عدالت_محیط_زیستی را پاس بدارد.
باشد که ایرانزمین دیگربار، پایداری و برگ و بارش را باز یابد.

In response to the questions I’ve personally received from my compatriots, political activists, political prisoners and journalists, I believe it’s necessary to make a statement.
My goal, and indeed my preference, has always been to see cooperation between all pro secular democratic groups. However, the Charter members did not come to a consensus regarding the proposed candidates. It is therefore important for me to reiterate that despite this setback, I will work with the proposed individuals and groups to amplify the voices of all Iranians. I will not limit myself to one group. I will stand behind all groups who believe in ensuring Iran's territorial integrity, who want human rights for the Iranian people, and who believe the future government of Iran should be a secular democracy, the form of which should be decided by the Iranian people.
The ultimate goal is that through this cooperation we will achieve freedom and prosperity for all Iranians.
در پاسخ به پرسشهایی که این روزها شخصا از شما هممیهنان، فعالان و زندانیان سیاسی، و خبرنگاران رسانهها دریافت کردهام، ارائه توضیحات زیر را لازم و ضروری میبینم:
هدف، کوشش و ترجیحم همیشه این بوده که حداکثر نیروهای سکولار و دموکراسیخواه از طیفهای مختلف با هم همکاری کنند. اما بر سر پیوستن چهرههای پیشنهادی به گروه منشور، اجماع به دست نیامد. با وجود این، من خودم را فقط به حمایت و همکاری با یک گروه محدود نکردهام، و همچنان در نقش مشوق و پشتیبان، بیطرفی نسبت به همه گروهها را حفظ خواهم کرد.
در همین راستا، من به حمایت و همکاری با سایر گروهها و جریانها نیز پیرامون اصول حداقلی مشترک: دموکراسی سکولار مبتنی بر حقوق بشر، تمامیت ارضی ایران، و انتخاب شکل حکومت آینده با رای ملت ایران، ادامه خواهم داد. هدف این است که همه این تلاشها در نهایت به آزادی و آبادی ایران منتهی شود.
