Had so much fun hanging out with the UH crew!

Another year celebrating the anniversary of the most colossal fail in my career, and the reminder that, with hard work and the right attitude, things can eventually turn out amazing. Sending much love and positive energy to anyone struggling right now. #MATCHDAY

4 yrs ago we asked the government to break the decades old Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network monopoly and "allow more nimble and effective specialty contractors to offer their capabilities." Yesterday Biden signed the bill to do this! amjtransplant.org/article/S1…

While CNN was doom reporting, we were swooning over rainbows, group hugging, cheering for toilet paper deliveries, making shoes out of zip lock bags and duct tape, and hosting an incredible all night dance party on our muddy dance floor. (photo not mine) #BurningManFestival

Today's supreme court ruling, by a majority white privileged group of justices who clearly don't understand what privilege means, is offensive and will degrade education in the United States. Shame on you.

After 3 very hard years, today marks the end of the federal COVID-19 Public Health Emergency. This is an amazing celebration of science, but we need to remember that this is NOT over. Especially for those who are immunocompromised. THIS IS NOT OVER.

Fox pays $800 million for telling lies. A glimmer of hope for media accountability?

Judges have no place practicing medicine or being the FDA. This is offensive. There are >20y data in millions of people proving that this pill is as safe as ibuprofen and 4x safer than penicillin. It's also 10x safer than Viagra... Gonna ban that, Male Judges? Didn't think so

Couldn't be more proud to live in NYC. Go home, MTG, you're not welcome around the civilized.

Airplane seats should not recline into the seat behind them. It's shared space, it makes it nearly impossible to use a laptop, it causes unnecessary conflict, there's no good compromise, and seats don't recline like that in any other settings. Go ahead, fight me.

Grateful for the amazing women scientists who mentored me and profoundly shaped my career, in med school (Martha Zeiger), residency (Patricia Donahoe), and junior faculty (Linda Fried and Karen Bandeen-Roche) to name a few. #InternationalWomensDay

Bonnie Raitt wrote a song about organ transplantation. This year. And it won the Grammy for best song. And it's beautiful. Have tissues ready.

At a work function, the "ice breaker" question was like "what is your biggest guilty pleasure" and my answer was "I feel no guilt whatsoever from the things that bring me pleasure" :) #liveYourBestLife
