Queen Elizabeth II has always been the face of the UK for me. I never thought that I would learn of her death while living in England and working for an institution she has once visited. May her soul rest in peace. My thoughts are with the Royal Family.

After 3 yrs of an intense PhD, 9 mos of an intermission, 3 mos of a write-up phase, and 2 yrs of a pandemic, I was finally able to go on the graduation stage. At the start of this journey, I never thought I would be there with my daughter. Keep chasing your dreams! It's worth it!

It was my pleasure to host Kaya Kim (Lead Designer at Volkswagen Group) in my #HCISussex module this term. Her talk entitled "Design as an Algorithm not as a Feature" provided fantastic insights on how VW are using user-centred/inspired techniques to develop their products! 🚘

I enjoyed participating in the @unirostock International Alumni Workshop today. Loads of great memories about my time at this beautiful place! It's such a great feeling to know that 10 years after my graduation from Rostock people still remember me there and value my input.

I'm pleased to confirm that after an initial period of 3 yrs as a Teaching Fellow at @EngInfSussex, I am staying with @SussexUni as a permanent Lecturer in Computer Science & AI 🥳 (from Sep 21) I'm looking forward to new & exciting teaching, research, and mentorship experiences!
