AI art is very much a modern parallel to the deconstructivist philosophy that birthed musique concrète.
Both movements take the dominant medium of their era, break it down into fragments, and re-compose it in ways that challenge tradition, democratise creativity, and upset purists. Where Schaeffer cut and spliced magnetic tape, today we cut and splice existing imagineering — recomposing fragments of the visual world into forms no one has ever seen.
