Just a few weeks ago our SNP membership overwhelmingly passed a motion at conference which acknowledged that if domestic energy production is less carbon intensive than imported energy, then to produce it here is the responsible choice.
If Scotland had had control over our resources from the beginning, then we would be sitting with a wealth fund worth over £1 trillion.
Just think what £1 trillion invested into Scotlands renewable sector would look like now.
But that wealth doesn’t exist, because Westminster squandered the opportunity and denied us our potential.
We won’t let them play the same trick twice, and that’s why the membership, MSPs, MPs and Ministers all voted to put Scotlands energy in Scotlands hands.

This is one of the deceptive, underhanded propaganda tools used very frequently by BBC Scotland. They tell a deliberate lie, get it out there for people to see, then publish a correction in a hidden corner of their website that no one will see.

Andy Burnham is hiding the results or the cost of taxpayer-funded polling on support for Scottish independence, despite claiming he doesn’t know if there is a clear consensus among Scots for leaving the UK as the reason for blocking a second referendum. #News4Scotland

They say Scotland is too small, too poor and too incapable of governing itself?
Clearly Denmark, Finland, Ireland and Norway never got that memo!
The question isn't whether Scotland can be independent. It's why unionists are so terrified of letting us go...
We would THRIVE!

Did someone rattle the yoon bin because my posts have taken a hit from quite a few of them. On the bright side, I blocked the yoons.

The Chancellor admitted that Scotland’s energy wealth would now be over £1 trillion.
But this wealth doesn’t exist — because the UK Government squandered it and pocketed the profits.
And that’s why Scottish households are paying £1200 more for their energy bills than Labour promised.
Taking control of our energy is not only crucial to build the wealth for Scotland’s future — it’s the only way to ensure that energy rich Scotland isn’t paying some of the highest bills across Europe.

For a young person at the beginning of their career and working life, then this budget is a cold, hard confirmation that this new iteration of a Labour government is no better than the last.
Young people in Scotland deserve to feel hopeful. They deserve to have ample opportunities — to earn, to save, to work, to contribute to our society and to feel as though they are being respected and rewarded in return.
That is not what this budget offers them.
That is not what this Labour Government offers them.
Fingers crossed.
