A lovely start to the day as I led worship at Elmwood/ Brant Township @ESynodELCIC. The sunrise was a wonderful reminder that God is not done with this troubled world and neither should we be.

@pastorjcrouse your congregation was once again doing good in the community with their adopted park. Wonderful to have a few local residents thank parishioners for the work they did today. @MichaelPryse @ottawacity @JimWatsonOttawa
How good to break bread in the sanctuary and in the basement with the congregations of St. Mark’s, Chesley and St. James, Williamsford today @ESynodELCIC. Fed to go out and serve the people of God especially those in greatest need.

Please join us in praying and advocating for a world without gender-based violence. At this time of pandemic, we must be aware of the increased number of people experiencing violence, especially partner violence. #ThursdaysInBlack

Great to worship with Pastor Martin Malina, Beth the fiddler, and the congregation of Faith Lutheran Church in Ottawa today @ESynodELCIC. We affirmed that nothing shall ever be able to separate us from the love of God. A message for these difficult days and all days.

Today is #NationalDayForTruthAndReconciliation. As a church, Sept 30 has been set aside for learning and listening. Today we also recommit ourselves to the work of reconciliation. Synod Staff are grateful for the opportunity to spend this day with our friends at @anishnabeg .
