If you haven't listened to the BBC Radio 4 series yet, this is the best place to start. @BertCoules took a fresh approach to Sherlock Holmes on radio and helped to make a series that will last the ages.
Staring today on BBC Radio 4 Extra, Clive Merrison and Michael Williams in the four Holmes and Watson novels starting with A Study in Scarlet. The shows will be online live and then can be downloaded from the BBC Sounds site. Here's episode one of Study: bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0085kr…

For those in the UK: 'The Dying Detective' is on ITV4 in about half an hour. Easily the best of Jeremy Brett's last run. Guest starring Hugh Bonneville and... uh... Roy Hudd.

Saturday delivery! The second volume of Dans la tête de #SherlockHolmes: L'affaire du ticket scandal. The art is extraordinary in this series. Love that Mycroft is based on Charles Gray’s interpretation. I really hope English-language editions will turn up at some point.

The Conan Doyle conference originally scheduled to be an in-person event at Birkbeck has now been moved online. Travel is still tricky for many and with things still being so uncertain, we wanted to make the call now.
The 'Conan Doyle and Storytelling' conference, 10/11 December, will now be held entirely online -- registration is free via the following link: eventbrite.co.uk/myevent?eid…
