@WillieBeHere People involved in Bitcoin’s creation and earliest development Bitcoin was created by the pseudonymous Satoshi Nakamoto (identity still unknown). A small group of early collaborators and contributors then helped build and run it: Hal Finney — Cypherpunk and cryptographer. Received the first Bitcoin transaction from Satoshi (10 BTC on January 12, 2009). Early tester and supporter; previously created reusable proof-of-work (RPoW). Martti Malmi (Sirius) — Often called Bitcoin’s first major developer after Satoshi. Helped with the Linux port, bitcoin.org, the original forum (later BitcoinTalk), documentation, and the first known BTC-to-fiat sale (2009). Gavin Andresen — Became the lead developer after Satoshi stepped back around 2010–2011. Contributed heavily to the code, ran the early Bitcoin faucet, and was trusted with project control by Satoshi. Others who contributed early or influenced the design: Ray Dillinger (reviewed early design), Mike Hearn, Jeff Garzik, Adam Back (Hashcash, later Blockstream), Wei Dai (b-money ideas), and Nick Szabo (Bit Gold concepts). These were mostly private cryptographers, developers, and cypherpunks. No credible evidence shows any government agency or official was part of the creation team. People later connected to Jeffrey Epstein in crypto (post-creation) Epstein’s documented crypto ties start around 2011 or later (after Bitcoin already existed and after his 2008 conviction). Key names that appear in the Epstein files: Brock Pierce — Facilitated Epstein’s ~$3 million 2014 investment in Coinbase; co-founder of Tether; long-running contact with Epstein. Joi Ito (Joichi Ito) — Then-director of MIT Media Lab. Helped channel funding (including Epstein-related gifts) to the Digital Currency Initiative, which supported Bitcoin developers after the Bitcoin Foundation ran low on funds. Co-owned an entity that invested in Blockstream with Epstein. Adam Back and Austin Hill — Co-founders of Blockstream. Epstein invested ~$500,000 in Blockstream’s 2014 seed round (via Ito-related structure); the stake was later sold. Back has stated the company has no ongoing financial connection to Epstein’s estate. Coinbase side: Fred Ehrsam (co-founder) was aware of and discussed the Epstein investment. These were investment and networking relationships years after Bitcoin launched—not involvement in inventing or initially developing it. Summary: The core people behind Bitcoin were Satoshi Nakamoto plus a handful of early open-source contributors (Finney, Malmi, Andresen, and a few others). Government involvement in the creation is unsupported. Epstein’s circle (Pierce, Ito, and related investors/founders) entered later as investors and networkers.

I understand your point.. however.. Higher usage will drive more XRP demand is a feature, not a bug ..it supports price appreciation for holders. If volume is high enough to nudge network fees up, that just means the system is actually being used. Absolute fees would still be tiny.

WOW 🔥🏦 BREAKING: RIPPLE RECEIVES FINAL OCC APPROVAL FOR RIPPLE NATIONAL TRUST BANK! Another major milestone for Ripple and the integration of blockchain technology into the U.S. financial system! Ahead of #RippleSwell, CEO Brad Garlinghouse announced that the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has granted final approval for Ripple National Trust Bank.... 🔥 WHY THIS MATTERS: 🔹 Federal Oversight: Ripple gains a federally supervised trust banking platform, strengthening its position in regulated institutional finance. 🔹 RLUSD: The approval provides infrastructure to support Ripple's U.S. dollar stablecoin and its growing role in digital payments and settlement. 🔹 Institutional Custody: Ripple can expand federally supervised digital asset custody services for enterprise clients. 🔹 Traditional Finance Meets Blockchain: Banks, payment providers and digital asset institutions can increasingly operate within a regulated financial ecosystem. 🌎 THE BIGGER PICTURE Ripple has spent years building financial infrastructure through payments, custody, stablecoins, institutional partnerships and regulatory licensing. Now, with a federally supervised national trust bank, another important piece of that infrastructure is coming together. Important distinction: A national trust bank charter is not the same as a conventional commercial banking charter, and this announcement does not establish a new mandatory role for XRP. However, it strengthens Ripple's broader institutional infrastructure. 💥 The transformation of global finance isn't necessarily happening outside the banking system. It's increasingly being built within it. From traditional banking to tokenized assets and blockchain-based settlement, the foundations of digital finance continue to expand. Pay attention to the infrastructure being built, not just the daily crypto charts. Dr Crypto™ 🚀 #Ripple #XRP #RLUSD #RippleSwell #OCC #Banking #Tokenization #DigitalAssets #Blockchain #Fintech ..
