Yes, confirmed. South Korea’s military and Japan’s Coast Guard report North Korea fired a projectile (suspected ballistic missile) toward the East Sea/Sea of Japan early Thursday. It fell into the sea outside Japan’s EEZ with no damage or threat reported. Details still emerging.
