It was my absolute privilege to host a special Charity Reception at Leicester Town Hall to shine a spotlight on two incredible causes I am supporting during my year in office: Leicester Hospitals Charity and the Midland Langar Seva Society.
We brought together members of our vibrant business community to explore how we can collaborate to support the life changing work both organizations do every single day across Leicester.
Leicester Hospitals Charity is doing vital work to enhance patient care and fund groundbreaking projects. This year, our focus is on raising awareness, supporting research, and promoting early diagnosis for diabetes and kidney health.
Midland Langar Seva Society provides a vital lifeline to individuals and families in need through food provision and community outreach, serving free hot food to over 500 people in our city every week.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended, shared their insights, and committed to helping us build a stronger, healthier, and more supportive Leicester. Together, we can make a massive difference.
