Oh just like closing GCSE German @CCEA_info didn’t consult anyone on this decision either 🤷♂️
There have been calls to pause changes to GCSE Maths, which will lead to some exams being scrapped.
From next year, pupils can only take their exams in November if they are re-sitting, but some schools have called for this to be delayed.

Thank you to the 4000 people who signed the petition to save German 🇩🇪 @CCEA_info . We look forward to the Chairman’s response.
No matter what your political views, this is not good governance. Children and young people in NI deserve so much better from their Minister.

Hi all,
We would just like to point out that “Adaptive Teaching” is a real thing and we haven’t just started using it because nobody can spell “differensiation”.

Education Authority chief says typo prevented email from landing after finally admitting department requested £30k for football team
MLA accuses Education Minister of trying to ‘invent a mechanism’ to hand money to Richhill AFC
The head of the Education Authority (EA) has provided a belated explanation about the proposed allocation of £30,000 to a football team, claiming that an email from the Department of Education was “never received” due to a typo.
It comes as Education Minister Paul Givan has been accused of trying to “invent a mechanism” to award £30,000 to Co Armagh football team, Richhill AFC.
I revealed that Mr Givan wanted the EA to allocate £30,000 to Richhill AFC to cover a shortfall for a pitch estimated to cost £580,000 — a team that already received a grant of £500,000 from the Government.
(Comment: The department and EA are attempting to prevent me from doing my job effectively.
(No response from the department on this issue since July. It has ignored every query of mines since. This from a department whose Minister recently ordered officials to boycott his scrutiny committee. An order that is believed could be unlawful if he continues to uphold it.
(EA with a one-line response to this back in July and no admission until now.
(FoIs facing obstruction. I'd love to know if the department treats any other journalist with such contempt. Is it because of what I have exposed in the past 2 years?

Hi all,
I've just been on a course at our Academy Trust HQ and learned all about the new phenomenon called VAK. Why has nobody told me about this before? It’s amazing! I've emailed you all my notes and I expect to see everyone including this in all lessons from Monday.
Thanks x
