I asked medical students how I could make engaging content on clinical trials they'd actually want to watch.
I did not like their answer.
It's been a different experience on @roondoctors so far than other social media platforms.
Looking forward to having more physician colleagues joining over there in the near future!

Meet NDEC faculty educator Michael Kentris, DO (@drkentris) — founder of theneurotransmitters.com and The Neurotransmitters podcast.
Is it common now that residents no longer call in consults?
I thought it was just my institution, but talking to a friend she said it's rampant where she works too.
Is this a trend a lot of people are seeing?

Neurology in 2026 retains the same core clinical reasoning as it did fifty years ago. The neurological examination remains the most vital component of the evaluation. While trainees may get distracted by advanced MRIs, new antibodies, and podcasts, mastery of neurology must be learned at the bedside. What differentiates a Neurologist from an internist is the ability to perform a neurological examination. Without it, one cannot localize the problem, define the syndrome, or provide effective care for neurological patients. We must reinforce the fundamentals of neurology for the new generation. No matter how many tests are available, the basics are the same.

There are always people out here who have been there. Seen it, & have their own kaleidoscopes, periscopes & binoculars to peep through.
Stay nimble, stay vigilant.
#Neuromedicine always mutates in the gray zone.
Pick your shade, share it; & let's taste, smell, hear, speak, & feel the full picture together.
