Wes Streeting admits that MPs pay has gone up from £65k to £82k to keep in line with inflation.
Why aren't junior doctors and nurses given similar pay rises to keep in line with inflation? #BBCQT

I'm definitely guilty of saying "exome sequencing" to mean "coding exome sequencing".
Great and clearly communicated thread from @nickywhiffin on what an exon actually is.
What is an exon???

I’m a CT2 in surgery and can confirm I absolutely do not earn over £55,000 a year. I bring home less per month than the £2500 we’ve been quoted for childcare 3 days a week when my partner returns to work from mat leave this summer as a hepatology ST6
The BMA has demanded a 35% pay rise for junior doctors.
Here's their current average pay rates at different levels.

The #gnomAD browser now includes variant co-occurrence counts by gene. We hope this will help with interpretation of co-occurring variants in the context of recessive conditions. Read more about this feature on our blog post broad.io/gnomAD_co_occurrenc… #ACMGMtg23

So impressed with the science at #ASHG22 - very inspiring! But also still a lot of important work still to be done. Following the theme of the meeting, @HeidiRehm and I have a number of openings on the team that we wanted to share: tinyurl.com/tgg-jobs 1/2

Her Majesty the Queen sent us three rainbows at the exact time she crossed that bridge.
One at Balmoral, one at Windsor castle, and a double #rainbow over Buckingham Palace.
She is letting us know she made it, and all will be well 🌈🌈🌈
