To all my beautiful ladies and girls, your wellbeing matters at every stage of life. 🤎
Know your body, notice changes, and don't hesitate to ask for help.
Let's make women's health a priority, even before something goes wrong.

My husband left for work at 7:30 that morning.
At 8:12, his phone rang.
I answered because I thought he’d forgotten something.
Nobody spoke.
Then a woman whispered,
“Is he with you?”
I frowned.
“Who is this?”
She hung up.
I checked my husband’s location.
His phone was still at home.
I searched the house and found it underneath our bed.
I called him from my phone.
His number rang from under the bed.
My hands started shaking.
Then I noticed something else.
There was a second phone beside it.
I turned it on.

I will be working at the intersection of academia, NHS, & digital health, focusing on the BNSSG (Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire) region.
Career-wise, this year is a literal "new year, new me" season for me. 🪴
I have joined the @UWEBristol and @onecaretweets as a KTP Associate in Digital Health Transformation ✨
Throwback to the SAGE Project launch in Swansea (28th June 2024).
So proud to have supported this powerful event; sharing research & lived experiences on gambling harm in the Armed Forces.
I was even (unknowingly) pregnant 🤰🏽 at the time!

Listening to Timi Dakolo's "Everything", and it struck me that he also wrote that song for himself and not just the listener.
I mostly felt it at the point he said "Your children go make you proud".
Timi, I see what you did there.
Amen to the prayer, for you and for me.
🌞 New month, fresh energy.
May felt like it went by in a blink. One moment it started, and the next, we were here.
Here’s to June:
🌱 Clarity instead of confusion
💡 Peace over pressure, and
❤️ Grace where we once pushed
I hope this new month is kind to you.
Cheers ✨️

Experience is a great teacher no doubt. But it’s also a fantastic time waster.
Why spend years figuring out what a mentor can teach you in months?
With the right mentor, you don’t have to learn everything the hard way.
You gain the wisdom of those who have journeyed before you
