I completely agree with all of this, but the thing that still really bothers me is this: Jax going out of her way to abuse specific people who DON'T want anything to do with her (Gangle) goes AGAINST her cowardice. Jax's meanness is supposed to be out of protection, NOT for kicks
I just really, really, don't believe this abuse dynamic added anything to the show. All it did was make people vastly misinterpret the meaning of the emotional climax if the show and attract a bunch of abuse apologists. It was a terrible decision.
