8 years between starts, moments like this don’t happen by accident.
Congrats to @DietrichEnns on an unforgettable return to the big leagues!

Pitchers are people too
GRUNT = VELO
Grunt trials added 2.7 mph (4.4 km/hr) in throwing trials for d3 college pitchers
Apparently, this worked for tennis serves too. Hopefully same for hitting

Words Tim Wakefield wrote in his phone before he passed away. Posted by his wife. Powerful words we should all live by.
Thank you for sharing your story and experiences #CowboyUp
Had a blast sharing The Fundamentals Of Winning with my childhood favorite team. Growing up, all I wanted to do was play for the Braves. I didn’t make it to the Big Leagues, but I like it better this way. If you know my story, you know why. If you know me personally, you know the depth of it.
I also never wanted to be a public speaker. It’s not in my nature and happened by accident.
I think of myself more of a protector. I’m reserved but have always had the ability to stand my ground against those that want to harm others.
My true identity was served better on a combat team than a ball field, and I learned a lot.
Now I’m a mentor, using my experiences to protect others from getting beaten down by the adversities of life and help teams win, and I’m pretty damn good at it. Much thanks to @TylerMatzek and the @Braves. It pays to be a winner.

Jerry Seinfeld: I'm never not working on material. Every second of my existence, I'm thinking, could I do something with that?
Howard Stern: That, to me, sounds torturous.
Seinfeld: Your blessing in life is when you find the torture you're comfortable with.

When he was 11, Kobe Bryant played a full 25-game basketball season without scoring a single point.
He then took a simple mathematical approach to becoming one of the all-time greats:
Oh, you mean you don’t just go on elaborate vacations for the entire off season or show up 30 minutes before tip off in season? And by the way, the way he trained and prepared guaranteed him nothing
Today!! Take a look inside the mind of 1 Duke’s All-Time Greats, a 15yr pro, 1 of the greatest shooters to ever shoot the ball and now a top notch analyst/broadcaster at ESPN and he also has his own show @OldManAndThree. We talkin @jj_redick! #knuckleheads @PlayersTribune ✊🏾😎✊🏾
His impact was immeasurable. The times I got to spend with him are moments I will cherish for eternity. RIP C. Gus
Word is out now. Coach Gus. An amazing man passed peacefully this morning with his daughters by his side. A lot of young men lives were changed in the 3, 4, and sometimes more years they spent in his guidance. He will always have a place in my heart. RIP COACH GUS. #18forever
Always had huge admiration for CML. His teams never had the most talent but the record and number of big wins speak for themselves. Rest in peace Pirate
