I’m going to be much happier this year knowing that whoever takes the trophy home was good over 10 whole races instead of a one-race crapshoot.
That being said, I’d be even happier if it went to the driver who was best over 36 races.

Spot on. If we ever develop the Gen 8, copying pasting the O’Reilly car would be a missed opportunity. We basically had that.
We can do better. O’Reilly cars are still aero monsters when you compare to earlier gens. The splitter and low riding bumper cover need to go first.
