Got back from the new Resident Evil. It draws upon not only the original trilogy of games but elements of 7 and Village. It's less about putting you in the shoes of established heroes and more the sensation WE have as ordinary people being overwhelmed by horror. Really liked it.

RUNNERS WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE SPRITE-THEMED AT ALL 😭 The season was initially about collecting LORE ARTIFACTS/RELICS, as seen in this early version of the loading screen where relics appear instead of Sprites. These relics are also mentioned multiple times in the files.
