Easier the second time around? For Murera, it was! When Murera had her first calf, Mwana, it took the two of them a little while to work out how to nurse. Our Keepers stepped in, collecting milk from Murera and giving it to Mwana in a bottle so she’d get that vital colostrum and those antibodies. Eleven days later, things clicked, and mother and daughter began a nursing relationship that lasted until Murera fell pregnant again. Earlier this week, Murera gave birth to her second calf and, as many second-time mums can attest, things slotted into place straight away for her and Mwezi. We couldn’t be prouder of our matriarch! Discover the magical story behind Mwezi’s birth: sheldrickwildlifetrust.org/n…

Pretty sure that Dan J. Sullivan is going to get 81 million votes, isn't he? I mean he is campaigning just like Joe Biden did right?

"Don’t validate anyone’s experience for the sake of temporary bonding." 🎯🎯🎯 She nails it!!!
If you listen carefully it’s a misplaced anger at his own parents for not making him feel worthy that turned into raging jealousy of other children who had parents that lifted them up and poured into them. He’s projected all of that onto white people. He needs to mend his heart before thinking about running for any office. White ppl haven’t hurt him. He knows exactly who did. Notice how he doesn’t get the satisfaction he was craving when the interviewer simply anchors himself & doesn’t validate that experience. We should all do more of this. Don’t validate anyone’s experience for the sake of temporary bonding.

🚨 BOOM! NICKI MINAJ just called out Michigan Democrat Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, and she's RIGHT. On Hasan Minhaj's show, El-Sayed mocked Pete Hegseth's MOM for cheering at his games, wearing his jersey, and making him cake. Then he called Hegseth "mediocre" and asked what "we" would have become with parents like that. That isn't a policy platform. That is a grudge. Nicki's advice is good: mend your heart before you run for office!

Sharing, not shaming. I get the frustration, feeding your kids matters. Lasting change takes grit, determination, & willpower, not tagging the POTUS or venting online. Sowell stressed personal responsibility. Practical self-reliance beats waiting on others. Wishing you strength💪
I AM TIRED OF PAYING BILLS AND THEN NOT HAVING $$$ FOR GROCERIES🤬😡 fuck, am I supposed to feed my family😡🤬 @POTUS I GUESS I’LL JUST WAIT TILL TUESDAY WHEN THE FOOD BANK’S OPEN AND I CAN FEED MY KIDS🤬🤬🤬

🚨 POWERFUL!! A Polish member of the European Parliament whose grandfather FOUGHT communism and whose father helped FOUND Solidarity just begged Americans on Fox. "Socialism is death, slavery, lack of any freedoms. Please don't do it." Poland lived through decades of it. "Everyone is equal, equally hungry." He also quoted Pope John Paul II: "Freedom is not given once and for all." Three generations of his family fought for freedom. Listen to the people who lived it!

Zaliponi fired ~115 yds w/ red-dot, saw Crooks jerk/slump. Stock shattered w/ jaw/neck injuries. Task force & Higgins credit him for disrupting Crooks; he hit him. He DID save lives. 🙏🙏🙏
🚨THE SHOT THAT MAY HAVE SAVED MORE LIVES IN BUTLER … AND THE LOCAL HERO WHOSE FAMILY SAYS WASHINGTON LEFT HIM BEHIND. His name is Sgt. Aaron Zaliponi. And what happened in those terrifying seconds on July 13, 2024, deserves far more attention. As Thomas Crooks opened fire at President Trump and thousands of rallygoers in Butler, Pennsylvania, Zaliponi, a local SWAT officer and combat veteran, made a split-second decision. From approximately 115 yards away, armed with a rifle without a magnifying scope, he spotted Crooks on the rooftop, took aim, and fired. Less than SIX SECONDS after the attack began. Crooks had fired eight rounds. After Zaliponi’s shot, he fired no more. Approximately TEN SECONDS later, a Secret Service counter-sniper delivered the fatal shot. But here’s where this story gets particularly troubling. Crooks’ rifle stock was shattered. Injuries were documented near his jaw and neck. Congressman Clay Higgins concluded that the local officer’s shot disrupted the gunman. Yet federal forensic findings have not conclusively established that Zaliponi’s bullet struck Crooks or his weapon. Now Zaliponi’s family is accusing federal authorities of minimizing his role to avoid further embarrassment over the catastrophic security failures that nearly cost Donald Trump his life. THINK ABOUT THAT. A local officer reacted in seconds during one of the most consequential security failures in modern American history. His actions may have prevented additional deaths. And his family believes Washington has never given him the credit he deserves. To be clear, Zaliponi has received honors, including the NRA’s Officer of the Year award. But the dispute over what his bullet actually struck remains unresolved. The Secret Service sniper deserves credit for ending the threat. So does the local officer who fired first. The question isn’t whether Zaliponi deserves recognition. He does. The question is why, more than two years later, there are still competing accounts of what happened during those critical ten seconds. America deserves the complete truth. And Sgt. Aaron Zaliponi deserves our thanks. 🚨A HERO DOESN’T STOP BEING A HERO JUST BECAUSE WASHINGTON CAN’T AGREE ON THE STORY.

Watched it when I was young. While I won't get into the movie details and 'Hollywood', the premise of 'I want the fairytale' always lingered. 🙏🤷‍♀️🙏
PRETTY WOMAN!💅🏻 Richard Gere nearly passed on Pretty Woman. Julia Roberts helped change his mind with a Post-it note—and three words. “Please say yes.” Before they became one of Hollywood’s most memorable screen couples, Gere wasn’t convinced the businessman role had much to offer. Director Garry Marshall arranged for him to meet Roberts, then left the two alone to get acquainted. When Marshall called to check on them, Julia wrote her request on a Post-it and slid it across the desk. Gere said yes. He recalled that moment during the cast’s 25th-anniversary reunion on TODAY in 2015. By then, millions of people couldn’t imagine the movie with anyone else. But Pretty Woman almost looked very different. The project began as a darker screenplay called “3,000.” Roberts described an early ending in which Vivian was thrown out of the car, with money tossed after her. No roses. No rescue on the fire escape. No happily ever after. Through rewrites and Marshall’s direction, it became the romantic fairy tale audiences remember. And one of its most beloved moments was a real surprise. When Gere snapped the necklace box shut as Roberts reached toward it, her startled laugh was genuine. They kept it in the movie. Pretty Woman opened on March 23, 1990, and became a worldwide blockbuster. Roberts earned a Best Actress Oscar nomination and won a Golden Globe. A movie that began with such a bleak ending became a love story people are still watching decades later. And behind that unforgettable pairing was a young

🚨 THIS is why free speech matters! Poles are thanking Elon Musk because X is how the world is seeing what's happening in Poland. The legacy media barely touched this story. Regular Poles grabbed their phones and showed the world for themselves. Before Elon bought this app, a story like this would have been throttled and buried. Now nobody can hide it. GOOD!
Thank you, @elonmusk. Without you, it would be impossible to inform the world about what’s happening in Poland.
