What's up Bududa

I received the Commonwealth Secretary General, Ms. Shirley Botchwey, this afternoon at Entebbe. We discussed the need for Africans to unite around our common economic interests through the African Continental Free Trade Area and to trade with partners of our choice, rather than continuing to organise ourselves along colonial lines. We also discussed a climate fund to support alternative energy sources such as solar, hydro and nuclear, as well as a youth aspirations fund to equip Africa’s young people with the skills they need. These are the issues we must address if Africa is to transform its enormous potential into prosperity.
